Awesome game He saw pretty early that if the queen moved he'd have some plays, and when that blunder came he calculated through and sacrificed THE ROOK, you really just can't ask for better we are SO back.

The fact that he didn't noticed he had checkmate on h7 even after analysis is peak NL content. That's why I've always wanted him to do more 10 min games rather than bad blitz where he neither banters nor analyzes.

Inaccuracies in the opening are likely to be extremely subtle and long-term. Unless you're already openingpilled it's probably not worth spending too much analysing time on the first non-book move you make when you could skip ahead to the blunder.
