As the population of our country becomes more and more mixed with foreign nationals from third world countries we can't stop our country from adopting the problems they bring with them. Just another reason we have strict immigration laws to begin with. It got this bad after only a couple of years of ignoring the laws. Imagine how similar we would be to Nigeria or Somalia if we never had them.

He inherited a long history of problems from his like minded predecessors. But the actions he takes now to work on resolutions for the problems now is his responsibility. It’s his fault that he is further encouraging crime with his policies and his fault that he misrepresents his office and his people by suing international manufacturers to hide behind his inability and predetermined failure through bad policies. In 1960, the Black American community had a single-parenthood rate of 20%. Now that rate is 75%. When the Civil Rights Act was signed the poverty rate was 17-18%. Now, after 59 years and 22-24 trillion dollars, the poverty rate is 13-14%. The problem is not society's reaction to our minority population, but the culture within the minority population itself.

Mayor can try to improve the conditions to make it less easy to exist an environment appropriate to crimes, like having enough police officers, enough space on jail/ prison to receive everyone, and things like that. Chicago situation is so bad that I think they really need around 27,000 police officers... but they currently just have around 11,000 police officers. They probably need lifetime sentences for all sorts of crimes including small crimes (so that people don't go to the big crimes later). Of course they could have some sort of wise people council to let people out if they demonstrate to be able to be useful to the rest of society and allow those people to get out under the condition they don't commit new crimes otherwise they would immediately return to the lifetime in prison sentence.

In Chicago the mayor is a Democrat. The police Superintendent is appointed by city leadership. The DA is a Democrat.. The AG is a Democrat. 46 of 50 Aldermen are Democrats. Four are Independents. The issue in Chicago is not racial, it is cultural. They are also the fault of the Democratic Party. The most recent Republican mayor of Chicago served from 1927-1931. Please, let's not forget the approximately 2470 black Americans who have been murdered, in Chicago, since George Floyd was killed. 95% were killed by other black Americans.
