Nice upgrade! I’m a Holosun 407C X2 purchaser from you guys, my first order. My order experience was 👍🏼👍🏼. Looks like I’ll be getting a set of these. I’ll order again from you guys.

Ordered a pair yesterday. The tooless front sight adjustment sold me. I called Magpul and was told the post on this is identical, to my MBUS Pro post. Good news, if I decide to swap it for a post with Tritium.👍

Good to know. Pushing up on the adjustment knob helps it turn easier.

In my opinion, the MBUS 3 is somewhat no different from the MBUS 2 when it comes to the profile of the sights. It still takes up rail space, I prefer the MBUS Pro because it's low profile and corrosion resistant steel.

If you have the money to spend the mbus pro is very nice for sure

On my Scar 17, since I’ve changed the oem gas block to a proprietary one for the Dead Shot Barrel 6.5 Creedmore 20” barrel which has the front flip up sight on the oem gas block I can put these on the top picatinny rail.

sounds like a good plan!

Interesting. I wasn't aware they had a new generation MBUS. I do love MagPul products and they are always high quality and MilSpec tough as far as this old jarhead is concerned. The MBUS 2 can deploy from center top also, not just the sides as you mention, so it gives multiple options for deployment BUT also has more surface area for inadvertent deployment. (Might be the reason they deleted side levers) The front sight post, once zeroed, should never have to be moved again on the same rifle. While the knob adjustment makes it tool-less initially, I hope its a heavy detent to prevent accidental movement. As previously mentioned, I prefer a smaller front sight post (target type) as it covers less of my target, so Gen 3 would not accommodate that by the looks of it. :( The new rear sight aperture looks to be a definite improvement for those that switch back and forth for varying yardages. Iirc, we used the large rear aperture for targets100 yds and under and the smaller for all targets over 100 yds.

I bought an AR that had an mbus rear sight and iron front sight. I put a FF handrail on it and removed the iron sights so now I just need to get an mbus front sight to match the rear one. I can't tell what version the rear sight is though. Will the mbus 3 match older versions of the rear sights?
@freedomgorilla1 Жыл бұрын
Yes they will match up. The MBUS 2 has deployment tabs on the left and right side. The MBUS 3 has a deployment button on the top

Will an mbus gen 3 work with an a2 front sight??

I been waiting for these mp3 since 2020 , better than the mb2.

Same here. So glad to finally have them and check them out!

Only problem with the MBUS 3 is that you can’t change the sight post. The older you get the more you need a night sight or fiber optic. You can change the post on the MBUS 2, but not the 3.

Didn’t know that. And that’s good to know

@@freedomgorilla1Nobody has mentioned that in any of the vids on their Gen3. I didn't either.

Have gen2. Got gen3 and took them back. They feel cheaper and just meh. Thumb side activation is plus for me.
