Күн бұрынI got to met my idol, Jonna Jinton! And guess what? She's an absolute sweetheart! It was wonderful to meet someone who has inspired me so much, and see that she was just as I had imagined! Thank you, Jonna, for inviting me!
After my visit, the first snow fell over the village, creating a duvet of calmness. The magical arrival of winter was here! The crisp air, the soft crunch of snow underfoot, and the shimmering frost-kissed trees gave me so much new energy!
I hope my joy in this video can be contagious, and that you all will have a beautiful season, wherever you are! ❤️

I'm honored that I got to visit, and that you also had a good time!! 🥰 Those 7 hours definitely felt more like 1, haha! ☺️ And thank you so much for your compliments of the scenery! It's always a bit scary to use all the camera equipment, including the drone, when it's snowing! But the result is always so extremely pretty! OMG, you really look like Jonna's brother. :) Especially at the beginning of the video. I was in shock.😯 But it's not just about look, you have the same vibe. You are both sensitive to nature, you even talk similarly. And I agree, this wild whistling is very difficult, I haven't managed it yet.😊I think I'll stay with you longer.

Love the scenery in your video and I ice skate also, love the filming while ice skating. I am happy to see a vegan survive in the extreme cold. And it looked like you were cooking on a wood burning stove/oven? FANTASTIC!!! Food always tastes better cooked over fire.

Winter is slowly arriving in Eastern Canada also and for me, that means escaping the city to go feed the feathered wildlife in the woods. My heart melted when I saw the little woodpecker in your video 🥰 Small woodpeckers readily come to feed from my hand, along with other small birds. It's magical ❤ I was pleased to discover you through Jonna, who I've been following for years! Both of you have a peaceful and mystical quality that just overflows and touches our hearts. Wow you are so lucky. Thank you for caring for the birdies. They need our help more than ever after the raging fire smoke and ash. It took five years for the insects in my yard to recover a little population after fires here in 2017. ❤

@@jenmorricone4014 Thank you!! I absolutely love caring for the birds ❤ I agree about them needing help after the fires we had. I've been feeding them these past few days and they seem starved 😔 Last winter while feeding chickadees, white-breasted nuthatches and woodpeckers, I noticed a small chickadee with a broken foot. It was dangling and could not be used. Over the winter months, it lost its foot completely 😭 About a week ago, it was there again, meaning it had survived the winter!! It came to feed from my hand again and I felt like crying! Sadly, it's at the bottom of the pecking order, probably due to its injury or just its place in hierarchy. Once the other birds have had their share of nuts, I shoo them away so the little one footed one can feed. It's working quite well 🥰

Im definitely gonna follow you! I got the same genuine feeling as with Jonnas videos and I can kind of sense that you (trying) radiate your most authentic self, and that’s really rare and I love seeing that. I’m happy you got to meet Jonna and that you’re being acknowledged. You deserve it. And the thing about that people are speeding up their music?! That’s so frightening to hear.. If that’s the case I think it’s even more important for us “slow creators” to exist and take place.

Oh, such a sweet comment! I'm so glad it shines through, that I try to really be myself. That means a lot! I think this world in general, and social media in particular, needs more of that. So I'm honored if that's what I'm able to bring to the table! 💕 Yes, I agree! It's so frightening! I knew things like that was already happening when it comes to videos etc, but then they made a thing about it on the news, that people do it for music too... That's not the kind of world I want to live in! Where we're all so stressed and immodestly want "the next thing". But in all of this, I believe - and hope - that that also means there will be a "counter demand" flor slower content. Are you a content creator as well? Since you're saying "us slow creators"! 🥰

@@DanielErik Yep yep, I really feel that too.. I feel I crave authenticity nowadays and I think that's why so many for example follow Jonna Jinton, because we need that "real- ness" now more than ever. (And ofc because she's truly an amazing creator) Yeah, same here but music?!! I can't believe it. It's so hard to comprehend that it's come to this. And yeah as you say - it will probably be demand for more slow, authentic content. Both in music and videos. Yes, I am like you, so inspired by Jonna, and have been for a couple of years now. I see myself in her, and create all sorts of things. And I've always wanted to come back making videos (ever since I stopped after highschool, 2014) and now I finally started again. And it's scary but also freeing to finally being brave enough to do it. I also strive to show my authentic self and to create from my "souls calling" :)

I totally get what you say about being close but not out in nature! I feel so connected once I seek out and get out into creation. I feel nearer to my creator God when I go outside. Wow! I love this story and yes you guys are twins. I love hearing you converse in Swedish, it reminds me of my grandfather when he’d come to visit us and I would sit and listen to him and my mother talk. Dear Daniel, whenever I watch Jonna's videos, I always feel inspired! A couple years ago I started following her after I saw a Danish friend share one of her stories. I was inspired to walk outside all winter long, cherishing the beauty of winter. I still find her work such an escape from urban life and I often dream "what if" I could find a life apart from the city, closer to my roots in the country. My ancestors on my father's side were from Nordic lands so I love seeing Jonna's work and now I am ELATED to have your beautiful art as well. You have taken the "what if" and embraced it! Perhaps someday I will find the courage and opportunity to do the same. 🤲🏼 In the meantime, I will enjoy whatever offerings you both have to share with me. Thank you.❤️🌟

Daniel I felt your energy was different and then saw that you were vegan. That was the happiest moment in this video knowing that there is another vegan out there. I miss the mountains and the snow, I dream of a winter such as on Harald Sohlberg's pictures, mountains covered in snow at night. I don't see much snow in the winter anymore because of the climate changing so fast. I wish I was there in Sweden. Enjoy those moments. Thank you for this video.

((Hello Daniel)) - I was wondering how the photography class was going. It was neat to hear your story about meeting Jonna and how she has been such an inspiration to you. It was also really cool how you captured a video of the woodpecker using the opening of the wooden post as a tool to eat the seeds of the pine cone - that was amazing to watch! Oh the joys of colder weather…NOT!! I know I’ve mentioned several times to you that I cannot imagine how you can handle taking cold dips AND find it to be enjoyable. Maybe a large plastic bin and some warm water heated on your stove can be used for both bathing & washing clothes so you don’t have to use the lake or river. The nice fall weather here in Minnesota has unfortunately been replaced with some much colder temps with highs only getting to the upper 30’s throughout this coming week - I can’t say I’m looking forward to winter. Stay warm my friend! ❤

I have met someone I thought was inspiring before and was totally let down when I met them in person and volunteered to help their charity for the day as they were NOT as nice as they appear here in their youtube videos and rather selfish, bossy, ungrateful person to those that donate their time, would never help them again!

Wow, I don't even know what to say! You're so sweet!! ❤ I don't know if Swedes are better than anyone else on KZfaq. But if that would be the case, I think it can be, at least patly, because Swedes has always been good with technology, learning how a camera works and how to edit and stuff! I don't know why we're good with technology though! 😂 That, as well as that we tend to have a pretty good work/life balance, compared to the global average. I believe that helps us put time and energy into our passions! So if a passion is filmmaking, we can often pursue that even though we might have a regular job too. 😊 @@RenayVildhjarta
