Mega Man Zero 3【Perfect Run】Blazin' Flizard

Mega Man Zero 3 (GBA), Perfect Run/No Damage speedrun of Blazin' Flizard's stage (Aegis Volcano Base) (100 Pts.), played on a NG+ save file. This no damage run's purpose is to show off more of Zero's potential via the EX Skills over charge attack spam. As such, charged attacks (excluding Recoil Rod, since there's universal utility with it and it's damage sucks) will not be used after the intro stage. You can see the entire run by viewing the playlist at the end of the video or at the bottom of this description.
Blazin' Flizard (Aegis Volcano Base) Strategy:
A pretty standard stage, but to be honest with you, the main difficulty actually comes from the beginning. Not necessarily because the hazards and enemies are hard (they're quite easy, actually), but because of my perfectionist nature of wanting my movements and attacks as precise as possible. As mentioned in the breakdown, those lava platforms that rise (as well as the falling platforms later on that falls into the lava for you to traverse on) function in a cycle, so I had to make sure when i practiced for this stage beforehand, all of my movements had to be the same as shown here in the successful take. The slightest change in my movement and I'd get a different pattern upon reaching the hazards. Other than that, fairly simple stage. The mini boss is nothing to sneeze at and Blazin' Flizard is subject to abuse (that I enjoyed).

One reason i always come back to the zero games, zx games, and later X games is because of all the tech you can pull off in these games (SDC be damned)

My favorite stage and with my favorite song in the game bro, your execution of the weapons is amazing and I love how do you explain the details of the run, I'll waiting for the next stage I'm sure it will be amazing 😀.

I used to use pivots for the charged slash, but I've never thought of using it for regular slashes.

Yeah, it's a bit trickier for normal because their animations are faster than charges. But still perfectly viable.

Very fast, efficient and entertaining gameplay my dude. I never knew about the pivoting thing but I'm very glad you showcased it via the breakdown to educate those unaware. Also that recoil rod into down stab at the end of the boss fight was just 👌 perfect.

funny, this one ended up in my subscription box, the first did not. KZfaq is weird xD So you can actually get multiple hits with one attack animation if you time it right by facing away from the enemy after the first hit and immediately switch back to face him? I didn't knew that, but it is EFFING AWESOME! Good job Magnus =D Also great breakdown, a lot of the stuff (like the RNG thing with bosses and the stage patterns) I didn't even knew! Thanks for all the explaining =D

I did the pivot recoil rod attack and i got the double hit, but it didnt kill those cannonball mechanaloids in one pivot, i noticed i was using lighting element, then i used no element and i got the pivot kill in one pivot, how much does element affect damage i wonder?

If you press and hold down while doing a jump slash it, Zero holds it out for longer

It's also worth noting that you can do the same with the aerial spinning slash (granted via the satellite elf, Mathlas) once Zero returns to that same ending animation.

Magnus sensei, i tried to implement ur combos into my boss fights, but i cant do it :( they just beat my ass and i never get the opening to use them :,( but thanks to u i got 100 points on this stage, but i had to fight him using thunder element charges, i feel like such a scrub if im being honest.
