Nice glass -- Probably in my humble opinion Sigma is a bit sharper but this one looks very good too.

To me, this looks like a lens with a lot of potential. This lens-sensor combo seems to be capturing an image that would be a pretty good starting point (before the grading process) etc.

Absolutely! Even though it's a tad soft, it's not an ugly or bad kind of soft. Takes the edge off the digital feel. Throw some grain on the footage and it would be a really unique choice!

Totally agree about that idea of "taking the edge off" the digital feel, and if I'm remembering correctly, Spencer Whiteman was talking about that in one of his Panasonic GX85 videos. You may have already heard of my website, but what I'm working on is creating a database of settings for every lens-sensor combo (that I can) and the cameras I've been testing are the G85, GX85, G7 and GH4 (but may add a GH5 at some point).

Looks great. I've just started using an S5 after using a G9 and G85 for video for a few years. Everyone says the S5 stabilization is great but compared to the G9 it's not quite there. I've been using the boost IS function and even with a little pan the sensor doesn't jump. It looks like you may have used that (or a tripod) for the shots at the end of this video?

I agree, good IBIS but not as good as the G9/GH5. I used a tripod for the locked off looking shots at the lake 👌🏼

I like Urth if you want a non-electric adapter. But sigma adapters make your lenses close to native performance.
