Otherkin, gender fluid, Trans-species, transgender... and everything in between. A question that people have asked me about this is… so what? Who is this hurting? People just live their lives and are just doing what makes them happy. Why do I care to speak out against something like this when people are just living their truth? And I have to say that this is a fair question. If we hear enough lies, then we no longer recognize what's true. I address this and more in this video.

@@care4thearth they are two kinds of truth, one is a thing, and the other is a person, men truth, and God truth, we humans have our own concept of what is truth, but the real Biblical truth, is in the person of Jesus Christ, until we invite him into our hearts and his spirit begins to convict us of special truth, we're living in a world of deception.

An online friend and I were talking about homosexuality a couple of days ago, and I brought up the fact that it is physically harmful to its participant's, and she said something like "what, that's not true" so yesterday I started gathering evidence that it is harmful. But then I got thinking, what if she's right, what does it matter? It still doesn't change the fact that it's sinful, wrong in the eyes of god, and we weren't made for for It. And even if evolution was true, you could say that we weren't evolved for it. Though, if that was true, it doesn't make it wrong, because in that situation there is no objective moral standard such as god.

Demons cause transgenderism, bisexuality, non-binary, etc. I was transgender and bisexual for 24 years before finding out the truth. My testimony: After being an atheist for 8+ years, and "married" to another female, I got the urge one day to say out loud "IF there is an Almighty God that does NOT wish us pain or sorrow, please bring me truth, I wish to know you exist". Then God immediately started bringing me the answers I had been searching 8-11 YEARS for! I witnessed Him take control of my internet and the rest of my reality; He first proved to me that demons exist (I called them "inter-dimensional beings"), then He proved His own existence, which I later found to be Jesus Christ. As soon as I found Jesus at the end of 2020, He IMMEDIATELY took away my transgenderism, bisexuality, depression, daily suicide attempts, self harm, bulimia and anorexia; and He did this all without me asking Him to, because THAT'S how merciful and loving He is! Praise God! Repent of all your sins, love Jesus Christ with all your heart, love your neighbors as yourself, and forgive everyone you haven't already. There's not much time, the Euphrates river is drying quickly, which is Biblical prophecy.

My understanding was that it started with Oprah. She would invite people on the show who had unusual theories or experiences, and invite them to share "their truth", or their piece of the truth they had had personal, unique experience with. So far, so good. But I guess through some game of intellectual telephone, some people started using "my truth" to mean truth is relative and mine can differ from yours. Kind of like some people cite Heisenberg uncertainty to mean we can't be certain of any truth in life.

I also would not want to be mocked or shamed either. Anyone who does either of those things is NOT your friend. Instead true friends would be there when I need to talk so I don't turn to food for comfort, would help guide me on healthy things to eat, maybe even pick me up and take me to the gym with them once a week. It's not our job to convict. Leave that to the Holy Spirit. We are called to witness & testify of the Truth in Christ. You can't find Jesus or His apostles running after unbelievers begging them to be reasonable & listen. Nor did they ever mince their words when it came to the Gospel. It feels uncomfortable, yes, but God will reward those who sacrifice their own inhibitions to testify of His Son. I've had to learn this one over decades. Not easy. Nothing worthwhile ever is. Peace.

Agreed with Stravo. Start with Jesus. You can’t ask for Spirit-filled thoughts and behavior from someone who doesn’t even have the Spirit. Melissa---thank you for your boldness in publicly sharing this. Topics like God's love are easy, but topics that go against the grain of our culture are not. But as Billy Graham says, "“When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are often stiffened.” 2 weeks ago, I was on a parenting panel to discuss at my church on how to explain gender ideology to a 7 year old from a Biblical view. Normally, this would be easy for me to speak up. I'm a professor, so public speaking doesn't bother me, and I have a Christian youtube channel. HOWEVER, when I started speaking, I was shaking. When I got home, I felt like I was going to throw up. Why? Because I knew----that even in a church setting, there was a lot of hostility. Many have not yet read the Bible. Many read the Bible but don't think it is all true. But was it worth it? Yes. Did I loose a few friends? Yes. But, many also came up to me and said that they would join me in discipling their own children and now have the tools to do it. Praise God.

Caution: God's love is NOT easy unless you fully believe in God and understand that part of God's love is His consequences. Too often, consequences are misconstrued as UNloving, evil, and even hatred. As a parent, many think we are hateful because we spank, sit in the corner, ground, or take away privileges. In reality, we love our children, we want them to know there are consequences for bad behavior, disobedience, and lying. God does the same to adults, He sometimes allows us to suffer because He loves us, He teaches us lessons, but we have to be in tune with Him and understand why we suffer....to teach, correct, rebuke, and train. In the bible, 2 Timothy 4:2-5 is a fitting scripture for this topic.

Letting people who suffer in mental illness will ultimately hurt others. Proof. My dad went to rehab twice. Was flown there by the RCMP (they flew out a plane just for him to take him the first time). He had severe ptsd. But the end of his life “his truth” was “I don’t have a problem, everyone is lying about me”. My trauma tells different. He didn’t speak to me for 6 YEARS!! He was allowed to have his pleasure and vices. He left my mom. He died alone. And the last time I saw him was on a slab. Any form of mental illness leave a wake of hurt. For the person, the the people around them. And now my dads siblings reject the truth, and reject me and my family and my children. I’m lying. I’m intolerant. I’m unloving. This is where it is going.

Things was see that really hurt people. Truth is also something you can test. And get the same answer always. It’s science. It’s facts. @@vanilla1353 Hey there, if that 'you' means me and Sarah whose comments I replied to, I'll answer that yes, there are legit mental illnesses - the mind involves the brain and the brain is a physical part of a physical body which can have illness. Then there is a wide spectrum of things which can be brought in to conversation; whether mental illness can be faked or exaggerated; whether a thing is a mental illness or a simple defect or bad decision of personality and/or will; can talk about the damage done by evangelical and charismatic churches and church members who deny that mental illness exists; and plenty more.

@@vanilla1353 no. I’m saying mental illness is very real. It’s this idea of accept anyone truth that real mental illness is going untreated. If you believe you aren’t human, say dog or alien… that’s mental illness. Needs to be treated. My dads alcoholism is mental illness and genetic. And being ignored to be accepting and allowing him to “live his truth”. Or I guess he lived it. He’s dead now. Died this year. No reconciliation in our family and trauma and damage just left in his wake. Letting people do what they want, hurts others.

When someone threatens to unalive themselves unless they get their way, it’s not wise to just bow to their manipulation. How does that help? I’ve experienced this with a family member on a subject unrelated to trans/gender stuff. The answer was 1st calling 911 in the moment it happened and then 2nd continuing mental health treatment. I don’t make a fuss about peoples pronouns, I don’t necessarily think it’s my place to correct. But it boggles me that everyone just goes along with the “you have to treat me this way and pay for my surgeries or I’ll unalive myself” threats. How does that not clue you in to the fact that this is not truth, it’s mental illness?

Because morality has made victimhood the standard rather than righteousness according to God. If you’re persecuted enough for being or acting a certain way and have enough stories, you’re going to sway morality in a society that roots for the little guy regardless of truth. While it’s true that horrible things have been done to the community, the response should never have been to encourage the delusion. But because people now define love as “acceptance no matter what,” then telling someone from a persecuted background that he/she can’t be the way they identify (a new human “right”) then you’re considered in the wrong for telling the victim to change…because the victim is always right. A lot of this has to do with shifting definitions. There’s logic in the victim morality system, but none of it is based in truth or reality.

Sorry, but can you explain why everyone is saying "unalive" including yourself? Is it a softer word for "kill"? Is KZfaq or social media censoring the word kill? Because unalive means dead so that word really doesn't make sense "I'm going to dead myself" is just strange. I'm honestly curious.
@scottfw7169

@@sweetsisfat What also doesn't make sense is what words KZfaq might decide aren't socially acceptable today; might be different from what they decided yesterday, which might be different from what they decided last month, and might be different from what they decide tomorrow. It makes me sad to see people who are otherkin or neopronoun users (not sure what those ones are called). I can't imagine how badly you must feel about yourself that you refer to yourself or you want other people to refer to you as a frog. I think if someone called me a frog I would cry. Maybe I'm just sensitive but that hurts me to think that they feel that way about themselves. I think people who are non binary or trans are using this as a coping mechanism for deeper psychological issues, and I genuinely want them to get help.

When you take my elderly grandmother suffering from Alzheimer's for example, most of the family would go along with her nonsensical brain attacking her making her think that she was back in her pubescent years, but I couldn't do that. Because when she would come out of the spell she was probably more scared, then in circumstances where I reminded her the truth that I'm her granddaughter she's 98 years old and we're working a puzzle book. Information is key, but truth is eternal!

Melissa, I spent Thanksgiving with my brother and his wife and his wife’s family. His wife’s brother in law is a trans “woman”. When I joined the family as they were gathered around the kitchen island watching my brother carve the turkey, I noticed the trans woman’s wife, a woman, was not there. I asked their 13-year-old daughter If her mom would be joining us. As the daughter began to reply that her mother was sick, the trans woman snapped, “Her mother is standing right here. I’m a mom. I’m a mom too.” I was taken back and remained quiet for a moment before replying that I hoped she would be feeling better soon. I think my silence allowed the truth to speak for itself. Anyway, I refused to allow this person to coerce me into compliance with his delusion and falsely shame me that I didn’t somehow recognize him as a mother. In his subtle misogyny, he interrupted his daughter who may one day grow up to have a child of her own and become a real mother and he demonstrated disrespect for his wife who was not there who actually gave birth to their daughter. Not to mention, I happen to be a real woman. I tried to be friendly and engage in ordinary dinner conversation with him and made no remarks about his perceived sexuality or gender, however, he remained unfriendly and did not willingly interact with me at all. I feel sorry for him as it must be a difficult life to pretend to be someone you are not and expect others to see you that way and if they don’t they must be rejected. I tried to see past the exterior and realize this is a person in pain who has rejected himself so thoroughly and does not realize God made him just the way he is and just the way he is is enough. I have compassion for him. I know I need God too as I think about the ways I’ve rejected myself for different reasons. Please pray for him and his kids and his wife. Thanks

I wish it could be as simple as "To my understanding, being a woman means these things" based on my understanding, are you these things? "Yes" woman is a shorthand word of these things, so are you a woman based on that "Yes" "To your understanding, being a woman means an inner feeling" "Yes" "So based on your understanding of being a woman, are you a woman?" "No" "Why is that?" *Actually explains why they think the way they do and how they act and why it they feel it doesn't line up with with what they are* "Well, actually, we have this and this in common."-- (more of a productive conversation.) Most conversations are so emotionally charged and full of "You'll never understand bc you're not trans" or just calling me transphobic.

All I can say is if the thoughts (immaterial) don't line up with the facts (material), then the problem wouldn't be in the body but in the mind. And by that I don't mean brain. If your feelings tell you one thing, and your body tells you the opposite, then the question posed is "how do you know the inside is telling you the truth rather than the outside? How do you know it's not the outside that is telling you the truth and the inside is lying to you?" God existing is very rational and reasonable with facts to support that inference from many categories, including but not limited to Philosophical Arguements in several fields Scientific facts also in all fields that apply, and by our own observable knowledge of how the laws of nature works as well as intelligent design in regards to how that applies to everything we know in this world and the universe itself. I found that "my truth" doesn't exist. That's inserting a subjective constance into an objective field. It doesn’t work. And it doesn't matter if one adheres to Conservative views or Liberal, or even the other group, the Left. It applies to everyone.
