Thank you for all your knowledge. This is the 1st year I only concentrated on a man, 3 separate occasions and had to cut it off because I ignored the red flags. I thought I was being too picky but I've learned that I really need to commit to my standards. So I can only blame myself.

All my life I have never dated more than 1 man at a time and about to turn 62 [in 2 months], Lord willing. I ran away from the dating sites because of perverted men and women, yes the women were chasing me too. I've been hit on most of my life and sometimes I would run and hide because it was overwhelming. Right now I'm taking notes and gaining all the knowledge I didn't get growing up. But he was the first man to show integrity and true character. He opened my car door and just did all the little things I never thought existed. It’s rare to me meeting a gentlemen. He surely knew the moment he met me, I was his “one” he made that clear. A Man will Not hesitate to show u he wants u, and ONLY U. It was me who played games, and HE left me. Great advice for women to be open to date multiple men. Caveats and nuances - in the first 30 to 90 days both the man and woman should be finding out about each other and eliminate once you know it will not work. At some point (within 3 months of meeting) a commitment to date exclusively should be made. Be Blessed!

The better question is, why do women only date one man at a time? Please stop being committed to men who aren’t committed to you and haven’t asked you for a commitment. Stop being committed to situationships and men who you’re “talking to.” It’s always safe to assume that the allegedly single man you’re talking to, has one or more women who believe they are with that man or headed toward a relationship. Meanwhile, he’s out looking for better options. Explore your options too ladies. Reclaim your time.

I enjoy my life, I plan to travel more starting this Summer, but honestly I’m LIVING and enjoying life. I focus on the relationships I do have; female associates, support group members, and co workers. I have developed hobbies too. Someone commented that options are fewer as you get older, I personally am much more discerning whom I share my time with now😁. And I would tell women of color don’t limit yourself to your own race. I did not say change the diet, but try different toppings. As I have gotten older I invest in me; looking good and feeling better.
