1) don’t get rushed, talk and move slow 2) boldness and audacity > get angry and crazy 3) just leave, show that you are bold > make up your mistakes by upgrading your level of boldness > don’t contact them, Ghosh them 4) ask for the moon, demand a lot 5) regality > little of words, big with action, learn to communicate with a normal tone etc. > don’t be vulgar and unprofessional > be conscious about people watching you (assume everyone does) 6) have a difficult side > if someone is disrespecting you, show your angry side; if someone is nice, be nice > have two sides

I grew up in a household that enabled toxic masculinity and babied abusive, incompetent good for nothing men. Any attempts to tell people what you want, to draw boundaries, call out disrespectful behvior were faced with violence and criticisms even with the women in my life. This made me lose my voice, suppressed my anger and aggression, fear them even. Now I am trying to heal all of this! I am going to binge watch your vids ❤❤❤

Removing yourself from the situation is the most powerful response because you don’t lose your cool, let them ruffle you, or show your seams. You just walk away, which trains people that that behavior doesn’t work on you. That said, it’s not like you just let them address you again if they’ve treated you badly - not without addressing what happened and making sure they understand you won’t accept it. Do they even get to be around you again? Not without the proper apology (which can mean many things) and showing/saying they understand where they went wrong and what they did that can never happen again. And then show you with their actions this is true. Other than that, they’re permanently cut off. However, it’s always up to you. If you want to scream at them when they scream at you, be my guest. It’s just not my way. I won’t be caught engaging in their foolish actions. Remember Alex said always keep your composure and remain regal. And once someone shows you who they are, believe them, the first time. -Maya Angelou People should only get one chance to mess up, and some folks don’t even give that. One strike and you’re out. 😂

I make sure to always protect "my buttons" ....i never want to react in a way that reveals some kind of weakness in my character... while I appreciate the growth/learning that happens when discovering what triggers you. .i just never want to let anyone know they can push that "button" anytime they want to elicit a certain reaction out of me.. that's too much control to give someone other than myself....and the code changes based on the environment.....

Alex, please make a video about the difference between confronting the other with what you don't like (which you said brings you respect and creates positive tension in the relationship) and being honest about one's feelings (which you expressed that you like yourself in another video), and sounding needy in a way when expressing one's expectations, straight-up what to do in order to express emotional dissatisfaction without turning the other person off, or is there a way to communicate it without sounding needy, or should one be fulfilling oneself in this aspect?
