Fastest street car in the country 1988. Built by Ron Fry and his daughter Mendy. Best pass 7.64 seconds with blown, injected big block Chevy. Ran best of 8.24/156 mph with Crower 8-stack injection. Lots of documentation including magazines and videos of competitions.
Today it is Street only. The cage has been removed.
O.b.o. Or trade.
Always negotiable. Own a piece of history! Built by Ron Fry and his daughter Mendy to be the fastest street car in America in the late 1980's to early 90's. Harwood glass body. Has a small block Chevy 355 with Chevy aluminum heads, tunnel ram and dual Quick Fuel carbs. Moderate premium pump gas engine but still fast since it only weighs 2,000 pounds. Clean Ohio title. Street legal. Tubular chassis. Still has Mark Williams built locker rearend and transbrake powerglide.
Car now has all new wiring. Dual radiators, two upholstered aluminum bomber seats, new front tires.
This car was built to race in a magazine sponsored Street Car Nationals in the late 80's. It was the fastest car in the country at that time only losing one race in the entire country.
I have documentation including three magazines and a custom professionally made video featuring this car. Video is about 28 minutes long and features passes by Mendy between 1988 and 1990.
