It is a cable that should only be for this type of Mercedes, but do you have this cable! Because if you have this cable, you can't connect with Bluetooth!

Its an AMI or MMI slot, my car neither has this, but has an AUX-Port on the right, where you can plug in your BT-adapter

Everyone fails to mention that the basic stereo (NTG-4.0)doesn't have an auxiliary option, so this won't work

You're wrong, I've been using it for almost 2 years and I've had no problems! I don't have to lie, if you have this problem with Bluetooth, try it like I did, you won't be disappointed at all!

The NTG4.5 face shows Aux/media/volume/sound, mine only shows radio/volume/sound

My stereo version doesn't have that option to connect to auxiliary to run my Bluetooth through it, both stereos look identical, I just found this out myself

What car are you trying it on? If you have it like mine, press DISC on the car buttons, or if you have the button on the steering wheel to talk, say Bluetooth, and it will fix it. It should work normally and the connection should be fine. with cables!

Thank you Driton, I went back and kept messing with this, apparently on my unit, I go to CD and puch selector switch and it switches to aux, I wasn't doing this before, I kept scrolling looking for aux option. I am now listening to music via Bluetooth through my phone, so I stand corrected, thanks again
