►The W211 E63 AMG is a high-powered sports sedan built for cruising autobahns in ultimate speed and luxury. Replacing your front brake pads and rotors will ensure you can continue eating highway miles safely for miles to come. Typically, your E63, C63, SL55, or CLS55 AMG will alert you of worn braking components once they have a small amount of service life left. At that point, you may experience excessive squealing, an aggressive vibration under braking, or even a grinding noise.
Replacement of the Mercedes E63 AMG brakes couldn't be more straightforward and is a job that nearly anyone can tackle in their garage or driveway at home. It requires minimal special tools, all of which are outlined in the intro of this video.

Good video. Something to keep in mind if you have an E55 or any W211 before 06 is that you should disconnect the SBC pump before working on the brakes. If you don’t the caliper can shoot out of the piston and crush your fingers.

@@brianr1668 nobody mentioned bleeding, for that you need the diagnostic tool, no need for that when just changing the pads and rotors

Another option to remove the caliper is to remove the two 10mm internal hex bolts which secure the caliper to the bracket. They are easier to access ,,,torque to 110 N m.

Is it possible to put bigger brake rotors on a 2018 gle 43? Would I need to get a bigger brake caliper?

So if I would install new rotors from FCP, it comes with automatic renewal of the wheel hub, correct? In this video, rotor comes off an old hub, then the new rotor installed on a brand new hub.
