hi i have problems with w124 230 ke jetronic, Car has been sitting for 10 years and now im trying to fix it i got it running by giving gas to the intake and it was running badly but after warming up it started to run better but problem is that it doesnt idle at all and still doesnt start without giving gas in intake(sometimes when warm it does start with pumping gas pedal but still no idle).sorry for bad english greetings from finland

Hi from Serbia. I would recommend you to do a complete overhaul - here I mean the injection system overhaul. If I were you I would start with rubber hoses, complete ignition check, I would remove the airflow meter and clean it up entirely, the throttle as well(without removing the butterfly!!!!), I would check the rubber underneath and its condition and then I would replace all the injectors, check the fuel pump, replace the filter, check the fuel accumulator(you have on my channel how it’s done), check the pressure regulator whether it’s in specs, the fuel distributor whether it delivers even quantities of fuel, the sensor plate whether it is rubbing the edges of its housing or not and then the sensor - I would replace the lambda, the potentiometer and check all the other sensors and at the end check if the EHA is within the specs, I would clean the idle control valve as well. It’s a long road in front of you but even the longest road begins with the first step! Good luck!

Hello dear friend if pressure drop to 2 bar after shutoff is it because of fuel failing accumulator?......fuel pump FPR and injector are new

Hello. Normally the RESIDUAL pressure should be approximately 3 bar(2.7 is also tolerable) but it MUST REMAIN that way for approximately half an hour!

Hello, my friend. Concerning the protection screw - no, there is no effect at all if it is missing. It's just there to let you know not to touch the mixture screw at all EVER! I can not tell you exactly about the protection screw, but I doubt that anything will change if you don't cover the mixture screw. Greetings
