I have dry skin and I love merit stick much better, it’s not as dry as WA

This was a much-needed comparison review; thank you! I have very dry skin and use WA Vital stick (Atelier lll) only around the nose, and I don't find it drying at all. Some people hate Merit complexion stick, and some love it. I'm going to try it. How would you compare the texture or Merit Matte Lipstick and WA Matte lipstick? I have a sample card of WA lipstick, and I love all three colors (Je Reve, Pip, and Pique), but I can't get over the weird, very thin texture. And I believe it dries my lips. Have you used yours a lot? Does it dry out your lips? This is the only thing preventing me from buying. That and the bulky, magnetic packaging. Would you say that Merit Matte is more moisturizing than WA Matte?

None of the formulations dry my lips, both wear nicely, but the Merit is much less bulky. The Merit ones can go light to very pigmented vs the WA ones are heavily pigmented from the first swipe. The price tag on the Merit ones is nicer 😆 and they have no fragrance. The WA do have a soft sweet smell. Maybe it’s me but there has been a bit of controversy with the WA lipsticks. However, I don’t have a problem with mine. I use my Merit ones when I want a warmer lip and my WA when I want a cooler lip.

@@isabelhoyos9581 Thanks for your answer; it is very helpful. The only problem now is that Merit doesn't ship to Europe:) I will most likely order some products to try when my in-laws visit in August.
