Fun fact about Reindeer/ Caribou! Both male and female Caribou have antlers and grow/ shed them at different seasons. Males shed theirs in the fall where females keep theirs in the winter. So all of Santa’s reindeer are girls!

Well if it makes you feel any better my worse Xmas was when I was 19. I chose it was time to go no contact with my family. All my friends were spending it with their families, so I went to 711 got a hotdogs and chips, went back to my apartment and that was my Xmas dinner that I ate alone. I am now much older and have a family of my own, and make a huge Christmas dinner every year because of that.

As someone who lives in New Hampshire on the border of Maine, I’m sorry we won’t have a white Christmas Ethan 😂 it’s 40° and sunny all week pretty much lol

One of my favorite Winter memories is the story behind how I met one of my best friends (at the time). One day, I was out sledding in my neighborhood where I saw a kid crying in the snow face down. I went over and asked what was wrong and it turns out he had fallen face first into the snow and hit his nose hard enough to get a nosebleed. I walked him the rest of the way down the hill and helped him out. I ended up cheering him up enough to continue sledding. The next day, we brought out some shovels and built a snow ramp which we of course covered in water throughout the day. The next day, the surface of the ramp was frozen solid and it made the perfect ramp!

I am from Gran Canaria and not only Sean's pronunciation was correct, but a lot of people in Spain call the the island "Las Palmas", which is wrong. Las Palmas is the capital city, not the name of the island, so bonus points for our boy

So, fun thing, I moved out of my parents house recently, and I'm living with family i don't get to see often, but, even though I'm happy I am in a better place, theres part of me that is upset I'm not going to have the same Christmas I've always had, no matter if it made me unhappy or not.

Henlo I’m a Pagan and I celebrate Yule :> I’m in the northern hemisphere (the Southern Hemisphere celebrates it at a different time typically I believe) But it’s basically just Pagan Christmas, happens on the longest night and shortest day of the year (December 21-22 this year) Technically Christmas was stolen from Yule but that’s a story for another day (I celebrate both Yule and Christmas)

As a thankmas suggestion: I think it would be fun to 'weaponize' your guests (even if it's just youtubers) into teams. Split everyone into two teams, and do like a Nikelodeon-esque gauntlet of different tasks (like the ones you did this year) and factor the amount of donations each team pulls in into the decision of which team wins. Winners could be given honorary 'medals' designed by fans. Also I think merch silent auctions could be a fun thing to do in the background.

Kwanzaa is a cultural holiday created by activist Maulana Karenga, based on African harvest festival traditions from various parts of West and Southeast Africa. Kwanzaa was first celebrated in 1966 and was created as a way of uniting and empowering the African American communities after the Watts riots in 1965. They light 7 candles that represent the 7 principles of Kwanzaa: unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith. 3 of the candles are red to represent the struggle those communities go through, 3 are green to represent hope for a better future, and one is black to represent the people of African decent. They unfortunately don't teach the masses about this holiday so if I missed anything or got something wrong, please someone correct me or add to this. The only reason I know anything about it is because I grew up in the communities that celebrate it and had friends who taught me (I was also super young at the time so I had to pull some of the info from the Internet).

My worst Christmas was when I was around 14. I woke up on Christmas and no one was home. My Mother and older brother woke up early, opened presents together, didnt wake me up, and then left somewhere. So when I woke up I realized I was left alone on Christmas. I cried the whole time while opening presents. I dont talk to my family anymore. Oh not to mention my older brother even got a high-school graduation party and all of the extended family was invited. Next year roles around, once I graduate and turn 18, it was basically "great now gtfo". Being the youngest daughter who get spoiled troupe never existed in my world. Since my brother was the only boy in the family who could pass on the family name. This years christmas should hopefully be the best ive had in years. I finally got to decorate my own christmas tree and wrap presents for the people I love.

Loving the lads talking about their mental health. that's wonderful. The idea of bandwidth is wonderful. I use the time Fuck Budget. I only have so many fucks to give. And the fucks I have are limited and therefor important when handed out. Like if there's heaps of negativity, I decide if it is work a fuck buck. Most of the time, now that I'm older anyway, the answer is no. it isn't worth it.
