Y'know, the sad thing about Rvs is that we buy them bright & shiny then store them outside & in no time at all the blistering hot sun oxidizes the paint or fibreglass & what a chore to polish off and you dont wanna know what a place will charge you to do a big ass vehicle like an Rv. PLUS, that same hot sun eats away at the tires. SO, I know it is a lot of $$ but the truth is, if you spend what it cost for an Rv, you really need to take care of it by protecting it when parked. I built a shed like you did, or store in indoors or at least buy a cover for it to keep the sun off the finish & tires. My shed is all closed up, my motorhome is parked in the dark. !

How hard would it be to turn something like that into a house? I am trying to find the CHEAPEST way of building a livable structure in order to get zoning people off my mom's back. She has stage IV cancer and all they do is hound her. They don't car that all of her money goes to medical bills. So, I am SCOURING the internet finding inexpensive alternatives. We have to have an internal footprint of 720sq ft.

Cost then, is not even close to today's cost, but you can contact carolina carports for a quote, specs, manufacturer, and local installers if you choose to go that route. This is a great tool I used to get started on my off grid barn. carolinacarportsinc.com/color-planner These carports, and buildings can be set up on top of a concrete slab, and then anchored down, or fairly level ground as shown here. You can go to estimator.carportcentral.com and use their free 3D estimator and build one to your specs to get an idea. Of course the prices may be a bit different if using another company, but at least you can get a ballpark idea on the price.

I do not like it...THE BASE METAL it looks like galvanized, but didnot protect by the corrosion. I recomended to learn and study an certificate NACE 1~2~3 and parallel to be member by the SSPC. Too much talent but poor knoledge. Corrosión, corrosion corrosión on the base contact with the soil grownd sand and salt.

TOO TOO EXPENSIVE 0n Mar 2021 . The FACTORY they CRAZY they extend 20% price . This is CRAZY ......we do not want METAL BUILDING >>>>>NO MORE

Steel prices have now gotten to %100 increase since December. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the stolen election though, ppft!

@@howididit yeah you are, but hopefully this unsubstantiated price gouging is temporary...but who knows. I'm just surprised at how quickly, in many different areas, that we are seeing the surprising results when we go from an America first attitude to the old Globalist attitude. In just a few months we've seen steel and wood skyrocket (for no real reason), hundreds of thousands of people, mostly kids, swarming across our border, gas prices skyrocket since we stopped using our own oil, and bombs being dropped on foreign countries for no reason. When will people learn? The next 4 (or more) years are going to devastate this country.

@Mr. Cool as soon as people stop buying it'll crash hard. They'll be practically paying people to take the stock off their hands. That's when I'll build. It's all about timing.
