Famous for its iconic guitar intro (the first few bars are easy to learn and often played by beginners), and for its melodic and melancholic sound (different from most other songs of the famous heavy metal band), "Nothing Else Matters" became one of their biggest hits, signature songs, and staple in their live performances.
On "The Metallica Blacklist" album (released in 2021 to celebrate the band's 30th anniversary), the song was covered by Miley Cyrus, who collaborated with Elton John and American cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
"Nothing Else Matters" is one of the most famous power ballads of all time, and it sounds amazing on piano!
