My favorite part is that he just straight up wins the race in the end. He's a minor character with a gimmick stand, and he beats Johnny, even after his journey, development, and sacrifice. It's like the universe is ambivalent towards the plot.

When I saw Pocoloco be introduced I kinda assumed he'd win cause he was guaranteed to have the best of luck and he has a stand that just tells him how to get through everything. If Johnny, Gyro or even Diego won, Ariaki would have to explain how Poco lost with all that luck on his side.

After two months pocoloco will lose his luck ability so he goes from one of the strongest charcters in jojo to a guy with a variation of ephitat At least he's rich

I have a theory that Hey-ya's true potential goes beyond predicting the near future and can go as far as predicting somthing tragic for Poco Loco that will happen a long time from then. But the fact that he knows that Poco Loco won't be happy as he is twords the end of his life, is why he keeps cheering him on, giving him encouragement, and changing his mood around from good talk. So Poco Loco can keep being happy regardless of what will happen. Because Hey-ya couldn't bare to see him so unhappy as he did in the far future. Which also explains why hey-ya does so little. He's in a constant stressed out state over what he knows and the sheer weight of it is holding him back.

Would it be wrong to say that Pocoloco and Hey Ya can also be seen as somewhat of a call back to the Oingo Boingo Brothers of Stardust Crusaders, though with a bit more of a lean towards Boingo. For one the similarities there the fact of how their names share the same rhyming scheme and doubling. Next there’s the similarity in abilities and how Hey Ya’s prediction ability acts very similarly to the Prediction ability of Thoth, in how both are not the exact future unless the requirements are met. Plus there the fact that Hey Ya’s design looks very similar to the depictions found in Thoth’s manga pages. Finally there’s the similarity in the theme of their dynamic. This being how Pocoloco has to believe in Hey Ya, much like how in both arcs featuring the brothers, either Oingo or Hol Horse have to fully believe in Boingo and Thoth for things to go their way.

Hey Ya! Reminds me a lot of a benevolent Cheap Trick. They both hide on their users back and act unseen to their original users, and have similar impish designs.

I like the reason he was surprised by gyro and Johnny getting head is his power let's him see the actions of any one person, there was absolutely nothing either of them could have done, alone, that would have overcome the obstacle, but by working together it created an action that could not be predicted.

The greatest luck Poco experiences during race is that he managed to go under everyone’s radar during the hunt for corpse pieces. Even though he was shown to be a formidable racer, he managed to avoid all kinds of deadly harm that threatened many of the cast.

I wonder if Hey Ya was responsible for eliminating multiple contestants in The Steel Ball Run by jumping them whenever they got close to Pocoloco on horseback or at the checkpoints. Like at times when Gyro and Johnny were doing their thing, Hey Ya would manipulate the conditions of other contestants by for example piercing their water supplies, poisoning their horses and so forth. I mean, you'd think there'd be atleast a little more final contestants than 39. Not unless Hey Ya cleared them all away while Poco wasn't looking. Maybe the ones that got into the finale were kept to keep Pocoloco motivated and to not arouse suspicion. Maybe Hey Ya is the stand of victory. The stand of the state of wanting to win at any cost necessery. Just a thought.
