I got into JoJo when I was only 10, and when I first joined the fandom I was intimidated by the large number of adult men in the fandom I felt like I wasn't supposed to be there, like walking into the wrong classroom at a school, there were also a lot of " boys vs girls " memes that made girly girls, or just girls, in general, out to be rude and needy, which made me feel even more unwelcome. But when I got to Vento Aureo, I loved Trish's character, she was exactly like me at the time, we both loved luxury stuff and fashion, and we were both very girly, and as you mentioned, we both felt unwelcome in the space we were in ( Passione for Trish, and the JoJo fandom for me) but she was also strong. It made me feel a lot more comfortable being girly around other JoJo fans ( where before, I was worried they would make fun of me and call me a fake fan. )

I love the stark difference between Trish's visual stance and body language between the panels before meeting her father, and the panels afterwards. She's either hunched up and insecure, keeping everyone around her at arms length and clearly suffering inwardly. Even when she's being confidently bratty, it's deliberately standoffish and actually quite defensive as she's closed in on herself Then after the revelation, she stands straight, with her stance determined and proud, and she looks people directly in the face instead of looking down and away from them. There's a pretty confidence defiance, and she's not just willing, but passionate and motivated like the rest of the crew in going about achieving their goals The shift in her self-worth is so clear, even if you only see the panels devoid of context, you can pinpoint the before and after of her defining event
