Ryan Reynolds looks like he doesn’t care about being in this film. He just want to make jokes about Michael Bay’s explosions.

The reason why Michael Bay movies suck is because he just wants action scene after action scene and he doesn't make the character's interesting to care about

Michael bay is the only director where you can watch his movies multiple times and still not be able to recite the plot of the film.

Michael Bay has lost his touch, I feel. He up the notch of his trademark use of explosions but they lack the usual energy and impact; he's become a self-parody. I pretty much hate his movies from 2009 onwards.

I don’t know if you will get this, but on some of the car scenes that are there, the camera follows the cars going to the right, and it does this for a lot, but then just randomly frames the cars going to the left. Which also happens during the chase scene in Harry Potter and the deathly hallows 1, and it disrupts the flow, and makes the action seem directionless.

Ironic how the most Michael *BAE* film is the worst film in his catalogue. Guess too much of a good thing, or in this case too much *BAE* is a bad thing

It absolutely boggles the mind how, in every Bay film, the main cast is unlikable, but they aren't unlikable for any character complexity reasons, yet the movie actually has the audacity to expect you to root for them like you'll just care about anyone, which is by far the greatest issue that critics and audiences have with his stories in general... And he's been doing all of this for nearly 25 years now.

I've watched a few reviews on this movie, an NOBODY notices how bad the cuts were in the car chase edits. Everyone says they're bad, but nobody realizes the car would crash into something and scratch the whole side and the mirror would break or get knocked off, and then it would cut, and the side would be perfectly fine. Then it would cut again and the car would be damaged, and then cut again and the mirror is getting knocked off again.

I watched this because of Ryan Reynolds. Welp, even then it was horrible

It's not good, but his worst? There's gonna need to be some incredibly strong arguments to explain how it's worse than his abhorrent Transformer movies.

Anyone else notice the glaring mistake during the green car chase scene? It lost a side mirror after hitting the truck and got shot up a bunch? Then we keep seeing a version of the car with no bullet holes and the mirror back in place on the Alfa Romeo

I couldn't even make it 20 minutes into the movie...

For me the movie is garbage, not because of the mindless explosion and the confusing action scenes, is because of the terrible godawful editing that went into it. It suddenly skips all over the scene and at some point you can easily tell that some pov shots were very amateurish. For example there was a parkour scene and for like 2 seconds they show a clip from a parkour youtube channel ( who also worked for the movie so i guess they gave their consent ) and like the clothes were different the camera was of a different quality the time of day was different and i lasted maybe 10 more minutes after that , before i lost my patience with the how rushed it felt. i like dumb action explodey movies and bay can make them, but this one was a giant turd.

this was very much a "turn of your brain and watch the explosions" film, but even then, yeah, it's not cohesive enough to be a good film. I think the mission impossible films usually excel where these fail, merging decent character arcs and motivations with brilliant practical effects and stunts.

I grew up with the transformer Michael Bay movies and I loved them as a kid But while I appreciate them for dragging me into the transformers series, I can’t ever enjoy them (especially for the last 2) as I did as a kid again

My dad called this movie “thought provoking” when we firsts saw it. And I still find it funny.

The main problem with this movie, it was how he was shoted. Like seriously, every second from this movie its cutted to another second and continues is like we were seeing the frame rate changing fast. This movie doesn't have a 20 seconds of a scene without being cut to another shot to another camera to another angle. It kinda burns your eyes in a bad way...

The pacing was dreadful.

I hated that The Last Knight did that, and it did it with a bunch of Z-list characters. If he was pulling out Starscream and Soundwave and even Barricade (oh wait, he did bring back Barricade even though he was killed in Dark of the Moon). But who in the blue f**k is Nitro Zeus?!? Exactly why I had no desire ever to see that movie

I only enjoyed this movie for 3 reasons: Ben Hardy, Ryan Reynolds, and slowly recognizing the Storror crew within all the parkour shots.

I knew the lack of cHaRactEr DevELoPemEnt in a MICHAEL BAY MOVIE would piss you off. For me it’s no surprise that characters in a Bay movie would feel kind of inconsistent. Sadly, it became kind of normal to me coming from this types of movies, so I wasn’t that disappointed.

First 20 minutes is pure Bay and fun last 20 minutes is pure Bay and fun middle section is boring as hell. Let’s not forget the film jumps around so much with flashbacks and flash forwards to even a flashback in a flashback. The only interesting characters is Ryan Reynolds and Dave Franco until he died.

I actually liked it, but I was disappointed that there wasn’t a chase using the 488 Pista

I was watching this with my cousin i little while ago and it just felt left colors and sound. All I was aware of was a orange stroblight like effect and the sound of explosions. Watching this movie is like waking up in a room where everything is neon orange with a fire alarm blaring in the background. You could probably get a seizure from watching this movie.

All I experienced was: crash - bang, mumble mumble fast talk, crash bang mumble mumble fast talk . Very painful ☹️ indeed for the physical senses.

There’s this very weird scene where 3 (I think?) rams his car into another car. In the first shot the cars have just collided but then it immediatly cuts to 3’s car rolling over while the other one is nowhere to be seen. Very strange editing in this movie
