She was the one that introduced me to ASMR. She had one detoxing type video done in ASMR, she whispered in that video and talked about ASMR. I remember it getting kinda bad feedback cause ASMR wasn't really accepted like it is today and looks like she privated it now but I am so thankful for that cause it literally saved my life.

What she said about natural lip color is very important if you are having a hard time trying to find the perfect lipstick. I have unflattering grey-ish purple as my natural lip color so anything mauve(or any dusty shade) looks amazing on me and I get the most compliments.

Michelle you are such a goddess... you have no idea what you have done to help people. I have been watching you since I was 11 and I am now 23. You were the first beauty guru i was ever introduced to. I grew up in an abusive household and after watching your videos i found my first creative outlet. I started binging makeup videos to help me cope with my home life and escape from my painful reality. I am so happy you still make videos your videos helped me so much growing up and helped me to find myself. I don't love makeup the way i did as a teen, but when i want to reignite my passion for it your videos always help. You're so creative, talented, and overall absolutely amazing at what you do.

I've been watching you since I was eleven years old. I didn't have access to that much makeup at that age, unless you count stealing my mom's. I love it so so so much when you add these little facts like 'when the temperature is 450 when making this glass it turns into this really red colour'. I remember you doing that years ago as well (e.g. with the Mulan video, saying how in the old days pale skin was preferred because it meant you didn't have to work on the land). Really adds a special touch to the video.

Michelle is the first person I ever subscribed to on YT...still love her videos, even though I don't really do the tutorials you can still learn so much about makeup in general. And what I find soo refreshing is that she's using her own products without sounding super promotional and you can tell she uses them...like it's not always gonna look pretty and untouched.

I used to get annoyed during large makeup trends because my parents always disregarded it. i loveee this look, michelle 😍 i feel the older i get, the more i’m team “less is more” with makeup. i used to love wearing/using different colors and color schemes on my eyes and wearing more/heavier makeup but now that i’m 31 i don’t use nearly as much product, lol. so it makes sense to keep neutral palettes like these around ✨ also, i love watching these videos but i never follow them 💀 lol! still, keep them coming ♥️

Da Vinci is the best eyeshadow palette I've ever tried. It has warm neutrals but it's not boring at all because of that mustard brown matte, the sightly greenish gold metallic, and the creamy satin Renaissance shade. It's truly divine

I love your makeup videos, have done since 2009/10.. Such a soft, gentle voice with clear commentary - makes a change from hearing loud voices + so many words for something so simple. one thing I gotta say why my adhd brings me back to all of her videos is because mish is one of my childhood symbols. like just by rewatching all of her videos bring me back to my comfort zone. I'm trying to avoid using the "depression" card as much as possible but imagine being homesick while being at home with your family. imagine the suffocation during these low periods but by watching her videos gives you that comfort. I'm glad she's my comfort zone. God bless you big sis
