Husky fan and alum. Michigan played some impressive, physical ball last night. How many times did they sack the QB in the first half? I think it was five but lost count. Loved it. Looking forward to the Natty next Monday. This was the matchup I was hoping to see. Win or lose, it's gonna be fun. Woof

Agree completely. I’m an old head so my favorite childhood memories of Michigan were the Michigan vs Washington Rose Bowl games in the early 90’s. I was saying all along I hope they play in the Ship. It’s gonna be a good one, people sleeping on Washington all year, their O-Line is no joke and have maybe the best QB and best WR group in the nation. Damn I’m pumped.

Same!! I called this matchup in November!! Reminds me of when I was a kid! The first 3 Rose bowls I watched were against USC, then 2 in a row vs the Huskies! This is exactly what I wanted to see! What I wanted our boys to do. Knock of the SEC, then play a classic against a classic foe to win it. Hoping we can finish now! Cannot wait! Also… welcome to the B10! :)) it’s going to be the best conference in the country! Period! Go Blue!

Enough already. Do not want to hear Michigan are cheaters they gave Alabama all they could handle all I’ve heard for the last 30 days is how great Alabama is and the slogan “roll tide “. Michigan will beat a very good offensive machine in the huskies Michigan 35, Alabama 27 Michigan, Michigan against everyone go blue!

It feels like the M defense will handle the W offense, but Penix is playing himself into the top pick in the draft and deserves a ton of respect. Perhaps this is the game where McCarthy finally goes off. Michigan can win many different ways, but probably not a good idea to shoot it out when you don't have to. I have a feeling that Washington is going to struggle to stop the run. Michigan will do what they do-- run it right at them and wear them down. Washington will feel like they never had the ball in the second half. 27-13 Michigan.

JJ McCarthy is due to come out and throw for 300 yards in Michigan’s running back tandem each run for 150. Michigan dominates this game Michigan against everybody.

Michigan beat Ohio State by two scores in 2021 when the Buckeyes had 4 first rounders at QB and receiver. Does anyone think Washington's weapons are better than that group??

Could be a close comparison. Penix is dam good. The real comparison is Alabama's o line versus Washington's. I think Alabama's line is better, Penix could end up under pressure all day.

@@slippery646Washington’s won the award for the best O-line whereas Alabama ranked in the 100’s in sacks allowed. Bama’s O-line is nowhere near as good as Washington’s, and this is coming from a Michigan fan

Penix is a dangerous quarterback; however, I see Michigan’s DB’s covering their receivers in Michigan throws 50% of the time and rushes 50% of the time. I just feel like Michigan has a breakout game.

Should be a great matchup. Penix vs M defense. He could play himself up to the #1 pick in the draft. Or W could struggle to move the ball and still be top 10. Gonna be fun to watch!

Hard to believe someone wanted FSU in there at this point. Truth be told, it should have been Georgia instead of Texas. Sorry Longhorns, but i just didn't see it. Washington tried to give it to you but you couldn't close the deal. Where was the defense in that game? Huskies will be asking themselves where the offense went next week. I think the score will be semi-close but it won't really be a close game. They will struggle to move the ball. You'll see.
