I really like the look of both irons. Impressed with T150, 1 degree less loft than Apex Pro but still has more peak height and descent angle. Only problem is that I play i210s - no need to change because it will deliver as good a set of numbers as the irons tested

Enjoyed this one Dan. I'm 63 now playing off a 5 index and seriously looking at my current irons which are AP2 718s. So this comparison came at a great time for me.

Did you buy the T150s? I own them. Former 718 AP2 and can honestly say they are more forgiving and longer by about 8 yards over my AP2s.

Funny thing is I have tested the T200 and Apex 21 in relatively the same lofts and found that for me the front/back dispersion of the Callaway was consistently better, I haven't had a "fitting" to decide which one and what shaft would suit me better but both are really good and for my level of golf they are both really good looking irons. Great review Dan, lots of good solid info !!

My grandson was fitted T 150 on the grass practice ground no mat into head wind ,ball flight perfect. As the Titiest fitter knew our course was near the east coast witch is often windy,, grandson spun the T100 with his very fast swing fitter said the ball with so much spin into ahead wind may balloon to high and not penatrait through the wind as hisT150 do. Cannot get a fitting like this in a studio, Top marks to the Titiest fitter from the N E of England. Many Thanks

Agree, however my counter argument is to control the spin number with the swing speed, decent angle and strike 😉

Great review Dan, not in the market quite yet, but the problem I see is finding a fitter who has a wide enough range to compare these clubs and others on the same day, therefore a more true comparison…. I will probably end up sticking with what I know.

@@DanHendriksenGolf fitting went well tried T150 for about 5 shots didn’t try Apex Pro tried Ping I525 and I230 fitter seemed to be pushing ping I230 told him i wanted to try apex pro and t150 but persevered with ping witch actually was pretty good but I wanted a change after plying I210 for a couple of years I230 a bit to close to my I210 nevertheless a nice club came away a bit disappointed I guess that’s the problem with free fitting 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

@@wayneowens1649had my fitting yesterday. I tried t150,t200, srixxon mk2, apex pro, i59, i230, p770, p7mc, jpx923 tour, mizuno 200 series T150 came out on top.

Had the titielist fitting. T200 2 degree flat. However, found the PXG fitting experience suited me better with the ability to 'adjust' head weight, not just shaft and lie angle dialled the club into my swing better. Being taken onto the outside driving range gave more confidence seeing the ball flight matching the sim! Worth the extra £150 per set? Yes 1 up to PXG now onto Ping and Callaway

I hit both as well as a mizuno option and the apex pro was just head and shoulders better for me and my set to. Ball striking just made sense with the Apex pro

Great review Dan both great clubs and companies but prices getting silly. £200 per iron is expensive don’t forget they have to pay for all this free equipment and players contracts.Try the Wilson forged iron’s beautiful to look at and a price that’s more acceptable.

Just waiting for my T150s to arrive.. tried both and both really good irons but there was no comparison in feel and dispersion with the T150s easily winning for me… blended it with a T200 4iron, and the new U505 utility… happy to feature on a vlog for consumer feedback if you want.. 💥💥⛳️⛳️

Looking at the data presented at the end it seems the length from the titleist is from pulled shots, side dispersion and ball speed consistency on the callaway look way better for you

Hi Dan, hope you're enjoying Portugal. I'm in the market for a new set of irons, based in Hertfordshire, the problem is finding somewhere that has a full demo set to test, most places just have a demo 7 iron for instance. Frustrating.

Your right nearly every fitting is based on a bloody 7 iron 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 we.are spending over £1000 on irons and can only hit one club absolute nonsense ...I want to hit the 5 the 8 the PW ffs ...had enough of it companies must do better for consumers with regards to irons

Have a Titiest fitting if possible, all the clubs they make grandson having Titiest fitting 4, 4, 2004, he was fitted with TSR 3 suites him very well loves it !!

Hi Dan! Do you think the T 200 is noticeably more forgiving in the 7 iron through the 43 degree PW vs the T 150? I would get the T 150 in the 48 degree wedge either way. Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe, I think you will see some difference in numbers, but I think you will only find more forgiveness further up the bag 👍

Big fan of the channel and have been since you split with Mark. I think club speed is absolutely CRUCIAL to show next to ball speed. Your swing with the Apex Pro's looks slower. This test is meaningless without club speed which you can see has been chopped out of the data images. Your swing at 7:40 was very slow, hence you came up short.

Sorry been away for a week on a pro am, I would say your right, swing speed would be a good addition to the numbers but my swing speed doesn’t change a great deal, not sure about you seeing a slow swing but the numbers shown are ball data not club data so I could add it as another column

I am probably cynical at my age but doesn’t this just show that Callaway can’t compete with Titleist when it comes to perfecting a forged iron. Instead they glue different pieces together from a profit point of view. Can’t believe the best players in the world wouldn’t play irons forged from a single billet of quality steel. But maybe I am cynical 🤷‍♂️🤣🏌️‍♂️

I don’t think they are the market except maybe 2-3 irons. In any case it’s not really forged it’s a hollow body. Their CB and MBs would be the tour player forged irons. Aren’t the Callaway numbers more tight? More Pro you might say….

More a lack of understanding, neither of these irons are single piece forged, both brands have single piece forged irons.
