I imagine Uruks have a culture going on like the vikings where reaching Valhalla is the ultimate goal, and whatever the Uruk’s valhalla is they humbly face it in death. So when you shame them and not even grant them a death in battle it is truly the most humiliating.

It wouldn't make sense for Talion to know Black Speech. It's not like the rings of power give the wearers fluency in it

@@littlemoth4956 But we're talking about the time period of the game, the shadow wars, which takes place almost immediately after Celebrimbor's betrayal If Talion learned a bit of Dark Tongue by the time he's become a Nazgul, that would make more sense. But not during the shadow wars Also, we see Orcs speaking the common tongue far more often. In fact I've only heard Ologs and Nazgul use Black Speech in the game's canon. In LOTR lore, they'd probably be talking in Black Speech, but the Middle Earth series is a side story so it has it's own canon

According to the Middle Earth wiki, Common Tongue is the main language used in Mordor. It also claims that Black Speech is only used by the Olog-Hai, as well as inside Barad-Dur. Basically, the only time Talion would need to use it, if we're going off of Middle Earth canon, would be when he dominates an Olog Captain. And of course, most Ologs in Shadow of War can speak the Common Tongue anyway, so it wouldn't really be useful.

@@dynamitedinosaur4601 As far as I know, Uruks can't speak Quenya (Elvish) and Cleebrimbor still says a few lines to them, so why wouldn't Talion use Black Speech on them too? :V I was going to say Sindarin but then I realized "Nan iChir Gelair" (I am the Bright Lord) isn't Sindarin so I'm guessing it's that other elven language I forgot the name of, which is why I said Elvish Edit: remembered the name

I do remember that before the Blade of Galadriel dlc came out Dark Talion didn't have voice lines yet. He had grunts and growls which kinda makes sense since the Ring-Wraiths do similar in the movies, but I'm glad they did give him voice lines for these interactions.

you must be talking about crowned talion his wraith form wouldn’t have a hood, it would have a gondorian crown shape, and whenever he speaks its never words its just him roaring or growling like some caragor

Not anymore.. they changed that in an update so you cant change to wraith mode in the epilogue and they removed the crown headpiece thsts why wraith talion doesnt exist in the epilogue

Your game probably isnt updated. After the blade of galadriel dlc released, he was updated to be given a cloak and lines. Once updated, it should give you this version of Talion.

I think him growling is actually cooler than talking
