I loved L.A. Remix, GTA Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories - and Rockstar loved the PSP.

I played this game on out the psp first and loved how Rockstar Packed the entire game on that thing and it played amazingly good!

i remember not going to school to play this game on my psp, i literally melted the buttons, i really liked the freeroam it had compared to NFS Undercover (also for PSP)

Xbox 360 and PSP, I played on PS3, but i recommend Xbox 360 because the better resolution, and running in a One X or Series X will have better performance and 4K, and PSP because is a different experience that really worth play.

I remember having Midnight club la remix into my psp and spent countless hours driving randomly but when I got through the campaign it got easy at first then frustrating halfway then easy again at the very end but it's even more interesting the Tokyo career was even more frustrating thanks to the narrow streets and having to drive on the left side but the feeling of satisfaction after beating the game was incredible however in the 360 version I got the complete edition which was superior in terms of the map being 90% accurate to Los Angeles and have vinyl editor it was great but it quickly gets difficult in the middle of the campaign thanks to the a.i upgrading instantly whenever you auto tune your vehicle but after finishing the game and everything becomes free it feels great

In the psp emulator you need to use 5x-10x resolution for the best graphic

I love how devs make stuff work so great. The full experience is on PSP for 2009 2010 amazing. Just imagine now if we get a 3rd party console other then steam deck. I would cream my jeans

Those 256mb of VRAM extra on the 360 make a huge difference.

No not 256mb more its shared on 360. Both console haves 512mb complete system memory.

Xbox 360: 512 MB shared PS3: 256 system + 256 graphics 360 gave better graphics mostly because of its GPU being a little bit more advanced. Also, it had a MSAA chip accelerator, so the GPU wouldn't bother with anti-aliasing, which was a huge advantage. That said, exclusive PS3 titles also had graphics instructions (like physics for example) directed to the Cell processor to render, so free GPU power was gained. Naughty Dog did this a lot, that's why Uncharted 2/3 and The Last Of Us look sooo good, even though multi-platform games mostly look better on the 360 because its architecture is simplier and way more developer-friendly (Bayonetta, Skyrim, GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption are some good examples)

Most people have a bad understanding of the PS3 and Xbox 360, the 360 was weaker, but because of it's more basic and more well recognized specs, game developers were able to utilize the Xbox 360 components more easily. The PS3 had a very weird and unknown CPU and GPU but it was somewhat more powerful, because of it having an unusual innards, game devs had a hard time making games with it and for some it was even a nightmare

@@SDRIFTERAbdlmounaim You are right. Xbox is known for their odd color grading. I choose Playstation because the games have more saturation.

I played and completed the Xbox 360 version as well as the PSP version when I was younger. Was thinking about putting it on my modded PS3 so I checked out this video. I've noticed most games are brighter on the 360 vs the PS3 (one of the reasons we went with a 360 back in Christmas of 2009) I can't help but notice the 360 version looks like it's got a piss color filter on compared to the PS3. The PS3 version in this video has more of a color and brightness similar to Midnight Club 3 on the PS2 which I adored. I may grab up the PS3 version and give it a spin because it may be easier on my eyes. Not saying one is better yet since I haven't tried it but I like cooler temp lighting vs warmer.

I think my favourite for now would be L.A. Remix for PSP due to having Tokyo. However I was thinking of trying a complete version of Xbox 360 or PS3 of the game to check out South Central when an emulator of a respective console becomes playable.

In the good timeline we would have been getting Middnight Club 9 right about now. LA and MC 5 on 360 and PS3. MC 6 and 7 on PS4 and Xbox One. MC 8 on mobile and PC around 2019. MC 9 on PS5 and Xbox one and PC. But that's in the good timeline. We never got that 😔

I played the sh... outa this game on my xbox 360 and I really love it, it's one of my favorite racing games of all times and I'm not even a big rockstar games fan boy or something (I really love red dead series tho!)

@@DanielD1936 I played it on a Series S it was in HD with a locked 30 fps wasnt that much better than my PS3 but the Series X upscales it to 4k and plays at 60fps which is a much more enjoyable experience.
