We got the idea for a boot barn from lots of other Skoolie builds, and in our case, it doubles as an end table for our couch, too! Mike built this piece the same way he built all the cabinet boxes for the entire bus, except this one has it's own back instead of the back being up against the wall. We had to build it as it's own separate piece so that it can be removed to allow for the couch or washing machine to be removed & replaced! Mike also added a convenient electrical outlet and USB port to the end beside the sofa. Even though this is one of the smaller projects on the bus, it still took 2 days to build the box & doors, plus sand, stain and install, with electrical hooked up.

About Us:
Hi! We are Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We're building a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible! In other words, Bussy will not be parked in our driveway, waiting for weekend or holiday getaways... when we finish the build, we'll be packing everything we're keeping into the bus and driving away from this old house forever!
We plan to be boondocking the majority of the time, so you'll see that reflected in our choices throughout the build (100 gallon water tank, composting toilet, solar power system, etc). We'd love to have you stick around and follow us on our journey, throughout the Skoolie Build, and to Infinite Adventures Beyond!
