The living room was one of the last parts of our skoolie build, down to a new sofa, TV plus wall mount, and household lights we modified to use with 12 volt light bulbs (see below)! It all started when Mike discovered these incredibly cool light bulbs that would work with regular household lights ~ so long as he modified the wiring! This is not a step by step guide, so you should only attempt this if you know what you're doing! Mounting the TV was a little more straight forward, and could also be done without welding. As for the sofa; we weren't looking for "boring brown" but it was the only one we found that we thought would fit in the bus... and it just barely made it. We chose to buy one instead of build one purely for the COMFORT! It isn't finished yet, but this is the reveal of our tiny living room so far!

About Us:
Hi! We are Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We're building a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible! In other words, Bussy will not be parked in our driveway, waiting for weekend or holiday getaways... when we finish the build, we'll be packing everything we're keeping into the bus and driving away from this old house forever!
We plan to be boondocking the majority of the time, so you'll see that reflected in our choices throughout the build (100 gallon water tank, composting toilet, solar power system, etc).
