Never delete these videos, there is an incredible wealth of information in them for people like me who intend on owning their trucks for their lifetime. Especially considering I've had that recall on my fuel pump too... After having Toyota try and fix some damage on the front I will never let them touch my truck ever again! They did a horrendous job, scratched the door, and on the return trip scratched the bed too without fixing the scratch I asked them to fix! Absolute buffoonery of a repair shop.

So one dealership makes a mistake and you blame all of Toyota? Thats nonsensical. I've been to 2 Toyota dealerships here in Las Vegas and both have been excellent. As far as scratches go its a truck , meant for offroadidng, so scratches are going to happen.

You’re one of the only people on KZfaq that aren’t afraid to mess your newer Tacoma and on top of that you document your mistakes. Other Tacoma KZfaqrs I’ve seen talk about mods and repairs but are never getting their hands dirty, they instead take it to a shop and vlog the repair 😂 Keep up the good work!

I don’t often comment or check a channel often for content but you make an exception to that. I lost my Cherokee to fire a year and a half ago and ever since have not been able to go four wheeling. Watching you work on a newer version of my daily and take it off-road brings me the entertainment I miss out on. While it’s not the same it makes it that much better. Please never stop making content like this.

Man I feel you on liking the autos more offroad. No problem just cruising on dirt roads with a stick shift, but it's soo much less work with an auto to get past the really steep and rocky stuff.
@MS-mr4zm
@MS-mr4zm 2 жыл бұрын
On a smaller vehicle tho like a wrangler or reg cab midsize truck, new bronco, etc I feel like a stick shift offers more control & “feel” for what’s going on underneath ya, also….if you’re in right rock crawling type off-roading manual has many advantages like ability to quickly alternate back/forth between 1st & R…which can really stress out an auto trans, being able to quickly drop into neutral is nice too. Advantage of an auto is obviously “2 foot driving” be able to stabilize the truck w/ the brake & load suspension while simultaneously giving it gas.

Man I've really enjoyed watching the rebuild of this thing! I totally agree about the manual off road. Personally I still wanted a 6 speed manual in my 19 taco because the amount of times I go off road compared to day to day driving I'd be bored driving the auto. Been loving the taco series. Ur complaints r 💯 valid. I have a taco. I do feel like the power steering is a little weak. I think there is a company that sells a kit to use the tundra power steering rack. I would never pay that much for that super charger, although I would love one, and auto makes the kind of offroading I like to do more enjoyable. Keep the videos coming.

My current 4x4 Tacoma is the first auto 4x4 I have owned. All the previous ones were manual. Auto is indeed the "easy button" for wheeling. FYI, your catch can may cause you to fail smog. The steering racks in Tacomas are a known failure point, especially in trucks that are wheeled (or beat on). Glad to see it on the road (and trail), good job!
