@@MikesMusicMethod Like your critique, but I always looked at the song a little deeper, at a glance it's about wanting someone. More than that it though its about how beauty fades I wouldn't lie you've pretty eye into times an inevitable train later, basically lust and love fades, wealth (silver and gold skies) fades, and embracing someone despite that and can you count on them. Just a different interpretation.

woah. yeah, i totally know what you mean. A part of it is repulsive. But then another part is so damn honest. It's like, at least he's not a gamma and just telling pleasantries to get her in bed. He's upfront about the offer and it's serious pitfalls and drawbacks.

The ultimate guitar tab is different :(. You ever make tabs anywhere. Could probably link to your channel and get additional traffic! The only tab on ultimate guitar is seemingly incorrect? I was just strumming it and it works, but wanted to learn the actual strumming so came to you big dawg

Yes. The tabs are all on my website. Was that not clear? www.molaromusic.com/tabs This is the same as the one that's in the video. And agreed. Ultimate Guitar is great for learning songs quick, but often only gets you half way there. Let me know how learning this one goes!

Awesome, thanks... one thing I noticed - In that live video he's got the capo on the 2nd fret and goes to a D shape rather than a C shape... with the open D string available it's also easier than doing that weird bar chord thing. Him sitting in the lobby is my favorite Townes session. I was considering doing that one but as you pointed out...it's a totally rewritten guitar part. If you listen to the studio and look at my tab you can't get those low picked notes when you've got the capo on the second fret. Both are cool versions. Good ear and eye to notice, Chris! What song next?
