The deck is actually surprisingly difficult to play. I have a positive winrate against red/blue and red/purple with this deck over my sample size but the games are always very very close. Remember that milling is more of a backup plan. I'd say this deck wins off mill in less than 25% of games and wins straight up on questing and tempo mostly.

yea i noticed that too when playing. it also applies to the opponent, they have a tough time deciding to draw cards or play out there hand. first one runs into wheel, second one runs into swords.

Human mim just massively underperformed. The deck doesn't actually always try to mill. Wheeling on turn 3 with her was rare and didn't really do much. I would say I only mill about 40% of my games. I mill vs control decks like pawpsicles and red purple and sometimes steelsong. I win straight up with broom sword tinkerbell etc vs aggro decks. 1 of Mim plays a similar role to chapter 1 lantern steel song's captain hook where she's nice that she can randomly shift and wheel but her actual ability in playing has rarely become relevant. I found 2 fire the cannons and 4 drop beast to be surprisingly good, especially in combination with each other. With a lot of 3 toughness in the field, getting extra 1 off beast with a future swords or with cannon can kill off a critical character. I also really like to keep a fire the cannon in my opening hand as it massively disrupts steel song's early game as all their guys are 2 toughness. The yzma wheel deck is still one of my favorite decks to play and my 3rd highest win rate deck behind red purple and steelsong. I actually have a positive win rate against red purple, and 100% win rate against blue red, and it does very well into aggro and goes about even vs steelsong. It cannot with vs blue cogsworth decks though.

@@bigbootyjudy6124 it's the same mim deck, but just more refined and cut out human mim down to 1. 2 drop yzma was also not very good facing all the teeth and ambitions and storm rage on in the metagame.

I took out pascal and replaced with olaf. I think simba future king doesn't do anything for the deck as a 1/2 body on and 1 lore doesn't contribute to your win condition. I put in olafs because teeth and ambitions and storm rage on are everywhere and olaf survives those where as pascal and simba do not. Same reason I took out captain hook. You definitely want to be playing some sort of 1 drop though so you can play mim snake on turn 2.

yeah you should shuffle first then draw, but pixelborn is totally bugged on that

This deck is weak to fatties as yzma is the only direct removal. Need to gain control of the game before your opponent can drop multiple bombs onto the board. Drawing multiple awnw is just plain bad luck and variance

right now amethyst steel, but its a difficult deck to play. red purple is too strong against green steel mill

you don't always have to mill, if they go wide and over commit, u can just swords and clear their board and win via card advantage@@edsel816

The link in the video description is reasonably updated to my latest version, and I actually think 4 brooms is better. I dropped human mim after a lot of testing though I still run 1 of her as she didn't have enough game impact and I also dropped 2 slot yzma from the original video as she kept dying to teeth and ambitions or let the storm rage on. The deck is still a work in progress so I'm always tweaking random stuff so the list will never be final haha.

3 cost yzma is a TANK no wayyyy

This deck was more of a meme fun deck but set 3 kind of replaced it with the jafar wheel in these colors. I think the format of lorcana might have gotten a bit too fast for mill decks to be competitively viable.

haven't played around with beast much, if i think of something interesting to build around i might but haven't really looked into building around beast. I assume ur talking green beast

Typically yes but the card draw power of every deck in set 2 went up so much that decks you face will draw much deeper than you usually. This deck can also force a deck size discrepancy with yzma on the opponent or broom and broom bounce on your self. I will say that milling gets very tight with this deck and you have to play very accurately to not self mill, and a lot of my mill games end with my opponent having like 4 cards to my 9 when i cast the final whole new world.
