Millet ambali is rich in probiotics but how do we make it tasty and interesting so that each and everyone will happily drink it ??
The answer is simple
Make it into a smoothie !!!
Use different seasonal fruits and different natural ingredients to provide different flavours .

Interesting Recipe. One doubt though.. Grains and fruits should not be mixed as per food combination rules so how are these smoothies good from a digestive point of view?

Everybody has gone mad with this wave of "smoothies". It is definitely a bad combination. Amrud ka taste is best with salt etc but imagine having it with gud !! Bad and so foreign. This is madness. So please use common sense. Kuch bhi mix kissi se karte hai in the name of novelty !

Mam Millet flour is already prepared by soaking Millets for 8 hours then we dried in sunlight for 24 to 48 hours then we make it's flour. Then still we need to soak the Millet flour for 2-4 hrs as you said in video for smoothies ?

See the grain is very complex. And absorb good amount of water to losen the complex structure to digest. Like any grain. For older people and kids more soaking is advised for a fit young man less soaking will be ok.

We have to ask in different stores from our town and near by villages and should find a person who sells for reasonable price. I did same.

Kodo, Foxtail, Barnyard, Brown Top, Little millets are Positive millets. Finger Millet, Proso Millet, Pearl Millet, and Sorghum are neutral millets. Positive millets can reverse our diseases. Neutral millets maintain the health as it is, they neither bring health nor bring diseases.

This preparations has its own drawbacks & not at all for a good health. As per my little knowledge of Ayurveds, curd & fruits should not be mixed together as they are counter food items. What is your explanation to this ?

She added coconut milk not curd. If we not mix curd and fruits it is applicable for animals dairy products not plant based milk or curd. We can use plant based products with fruits

Millets Ambali do not cause any issues. We have to change millet every 2 days. Each millet 2 days and like wise all 5 millets in a span of 10 days (5 days x 2 millets = 10 days ). Also we need to soak millets for a minimum of 6 to 8 hours. If we follow these basic rules we get no issues.

No. It won't. The bacterial growth gets stunted when we put salt before Ambali preparation but after Ambali got prepared we can add salt before consumption and it won't kill the bacteria

@@doctorhomemaker If you observe she added rock salt. It has no chemicals. I was following this lifestyle from past 3 years and If I don't know something I don't reply because it will bring loss to someone's health which I never do. I have very clear idea. Adding anything to ambali(after it's preparation) including salt does no harm to the gut bacteria

@@doctorhomemaker Gut microbes get stunted : 1. When We keep them in fridge (the fermentation stops) 2. When we add salt before fermentation (the fermentation won't happen in the way it should) 3. When we put it directly on the stove (the reason why we use double boiling method) 4. When we don't soak them well enough so that the fibre won't attract enough microbes 5. When we use untidy clothes it attracts bad bacteria along with good bacteria.
