Looking at this it was very obvious they were lip syncing. Just so sad. They were so talented and good looking. Rob didn't deserve to go out the way he did.

They were amazing performers and I think that they could sing, eventually at least. They did as much work with gigs and touring as a singer does anyway. They dance and perform. Who did they hurt? No one. Well maybe the real voices behind the songs but they desided to give their voice anyway… Must’ve been dissapointing yes, but seriously they looked and were amazing!!

Farian was stupid to not let these two sing. Sure their European accents were too thick, but so what? It is a good song, and they have great stage presence. It would have been enough to wash the audience over

Rob had a lousy singing voice, which wouldn't have gone away even without an accent. Fab could sing somewhat decently. And what pray tell is a "European" accent?? A German accent sounds nothing like a French or an Italian or a Greek or a Hungarian or a Spanish... etc etc Are you sure you know what you're talking about? Farian may have been a vile crook but he wasn't stupid. Fact is he understood what sold well to the apes out there. Makes him a marketing genius if anything. And this also makes you ill-suited to assess anything.

@@MoonLanta Good Question . I think it was pre-recorded . Frank Farian wouldn't risk his own reputation in the music industry by having a real singer backstage....that would have blown their cover .

Rob and Fab should have gone with it and not force Frank's hand to blow the whistle on the whole thing Back then people thought that what u see on the TV is the real life and nothing is fake Nowdays we all know that there are 2 personas : the VIP and the real person and the 2 dont match 80% of the time either in their glamour, looks or skills so to conclude back then it was outrageus and it was a total SCANDAL right now is a rude awaking from a beautifull dream and we would like to let the person who woke us from this beautifull dream that we do have a real life we have to deal with and we needed that dream in order to better cope with our reality and that by awaking us he did us no favor we chose The Matrix if the real life is worse than The Matrix
