Milwaukee M18 FUEL 3/8'' MID TORQUE Impact Wrench (SNAP-ON SLAYER) In this video we show off Milwaukee's brand new "SNAP-ON SLAYER" M18 FUEL 3/8'' MID TORQUE Impact Wrench. Milwaukee is offering two different variants of this 3/8'' impact wrench (2960-20). Let us know your thoughts on the gen 2 Milwaukee M18 FUEL 3/8'' Mid Torque Impact Wrench with friction ring in the comments section below. Do you think this new Milwaukee tool is actually better than SNAP-ON or is it just a lot of speculation?

It is not crazy, you just didn't read the manual. What you called the "auto mode" is actually designed for hand- fastening torque rated at 35 ft-lb. It is meant for safe fastening and high nut busting.. it is a shame how such a beautiful tool didn't get the appreciation it deserves because of user incompetence

I work in auto mechanics and had the opportunity to use my friend’s. Absolutely loved it! Took 19mm lugs off like butter and then I proceeded to use it for front suspension work and the tool made THAT a breeze! I bought one within hours of my stimulus check dropping and I’m excited for it to arrive this week!

I use the M18 1/4” hex he has sitting in the video daily. It is one hell of a good tool and was the only compact option a year ago. Can r&r transmissions all day with it.

Milwaukee is really stepping up the auto mechanic side of things. The fuel impacts and ratchets are a mechanics dream come true. I'm a Camaro/Firebird salvage yard owner and a mechanic and the M18 1/2" high torque is the go too for any rusted on suspension bolts for sure. I also use the M18 1/4" driver with adapters and the M12 stubby 3/8" impact. Those 2 smaller ones disassembles 90% of the car, needing only the high torque for some stubborn lug nuts and suspension bolts.

Weve got 14 techs in our service department. Were a John deere Ag dealer so we work on everything from Mowers to cotton pickers. 10 out of the 14 techs all running a mix of the M18 and m12 fuel systems. LEGIT set of tools folks. Great review!

Used the older 1/2 impact many times. Massive difference in power between a 5.0, a 9.0 and a 12.0 battery. Currently own the new 1400ft/lb impact from Milwaukee. Killer tool if you've got the room to use it. But this mid torque unit is hugely impressive!

Milwaukee has done a very good job in offering very powerful, yet reasonably priced cordless impact wrenches for automotive mechanics, and DIYers out there, making them do away air hoses for their pneumatic air tools. I got the first gen mid-torque with 1/2" anvil, and it is a beast! Gets me out of sticky situations on my car. I use it alongside my M12 Fuel 1/2" Stubby impact wrench. Tag team champs on my driveway, lol!

I have one on order from my local Milwaukee facility...Can't wait. Right now I use a Snap-on battery impact. 1/2 inch and works well. I don't always need the torque rating of this impact so one that has 600 ft. lb. and is so much smaller and lighter will definitely make my life easier.

What a great looking impact, very sleek, slim, and gorgeous....DANG! (I’ve gone native 😂😂). Love that Milwaukee finally went LED on the “nose”. I love my gen 3 impact driver and hammer drill....but the new gen 4 impact drivers/hammer drills will surely have this styling (if not....well, INCONCEIVABLE 😅), & naturally gonna want, even though my gen 3 tools look/work great. Just hope Milwaukee retires the standard charger and ships all kits w/ Rapid in 2021 (& super charger for the “higher end battery” kits😉). Hope EVERYONE had a wonderful Christmas & New Year’s Day. Here’s to a new year....and for it to be awesome one✌🏼

I have started switching to the Milwaukee M12 line for my small tools, started with the 1/4 stubby impact wrench about a month ago. Now I also have the hammer drill and the 3/8 stubby. I don’t know if I can give up on the 20v Dewalt tools I have in the truck though. Never fail me and gets 99% of my work done for me. The 1% that I can’t get usually end up getting the torch treatment.

I just picked up Makita's XWT14Z at Home Depot for $176.71 out the door. I also picked up the 36-Volt brushless circular saw kit with four 5.0Ah batteries and a dual-port charger for 268.30 out the door. I figured that the batteries alone are worth it, making the 36-Volt saw and dual-port batteries charger free. The total was 445.01 out the door for a 1/2" impact drive, four 5.0Ah batteries, 36-Volt circular saw, and two-port batteries charger. However, I was looking at the 18-volt 5.0 Ah battery starter pack for 214.42 out the door, but that would have only given me three batteries and a single port battery charge instead of a dual-port charger. I figured the extra fifty-three dollars and eight-eight cents of the kit mentioned above was worth it.
