Much like me, Microsoft doesn’t consider the streaming platform equivalent of reddit and a Chinese app that is filled with brain rot as “big companies” (because they don’t pose any real threat to Microsofts industries) KZfaq used to be the same way (before it was bought by ONE OF THE LARGEST COMPANIES IN THE WORLD.)

Exactly - and that makes it out of touch. Everyone who remembers MLG montage parodies is at least in their late teens, most in their 20s now. They don't understand their target demographic with this at all. If it's supposed to be nostalgic, it wouldn't be on TikTok, wouldn't be mixing in modern memes like the 'huh' and wouldn't be saying 'rizz'.

Okay one thing I gotta ask everyone Did you all feel like the minecraft 15 year celebration trailer was also just very overwhelming and seemed like it was trying to fit for the brain rotted short video users? That video had switched scenery every 0.5 seconds being like "New this new that" with them showing a statue of steve and before you can even recognise the object it already blurred away to something else and then to again something else and then to skeletons and then blah blah blah It just felt overwhelming

Yeah... I'm also a bit disappointed that instead of showing off some cool community creations or making an official documentary about the 15 year journey of their game (like Valve did for Half-Life's 25th anniversary) they just pumped out a bunch of marketplace promotion. I mean that stuff's cool and all, but I would have preferred something about the actual 15-year journey of this game instead of them just jumping straight into the marketing

@@helmo2019 For me it's very apparent that Microsoft is the one pushing Bedrock to be the main focus because like let's be honest - Mojang doing most of the snapshots and gameplay showcases on Java - Mojang usually focused on adding all the new things to minecraft for Java and didn't really wait for bedrock to keep up until Microsoft said that updates will synchronise - Their minecraft monthly being also recorded on Java - Java just being more stable overall, the only thing bedrock is being focused on is new content without any bug fixes - They even on their official site did a comparison on what they have and what they don't have and the comparison just shows bedrock in a much worse light (Unless you count the checkmarks on Bedrock having market place and add ons a good thing but other than that yeah no it shows it in a much worse light)

In Germany, you would call that "Ein Griff ins Klo". Translates to a dip in the toilet. Really just a trashy ad. It seems, 10 to 14 year olds have invaded the marketing team. Many have called it ironic. It's ironic that over 90% of the community hate them for that. If you make jokes that just aren't funny at all, you either shut up quickly or loose your friends. Many said it's Gen Z humor. I'm Gen Z and I hate it. All my friends hate it. I hated it when I was 16 and they didn't exist when I was 15. Don't get hung up in stereotypes. Many said it's so bad it has become good. It's not, it's brainrot. Stay away from that. As long as they get blacklashes for this garbage, not everything is lost. Buy a copy of minecraft for someone who doesn't have it, instead of buying the t-shirts. Stay safe out there guys.
