Shed Repo?
Yes, just like cars and anything else that is financed.
Sheds are typically on rent-to-own terms and if they fail to make their rental payments we pick them up.
My wish is not for anyone to get anything repossessed but rather for everyone to make great decisions and prosper.
I understand people fall on hard times and that sucks but it all comes down to responsibly, if you can't pay you can always voluntarily return it.
Here are a couple quotes we should live by:
Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it ... he who doesn't ... pays it. ― Albert Einstein
Live like no one else today, so you can live like no one else tomorrow. --Dave Ramsey
Thanks for watching
Have a great Day. Josh

I lived in Cincinnati for 15 years and a lot of my colleagues lived in Indiana and Kentucky in single-wides, double-wides and even occasionally units similar to the above that they owned. I used to visit them from time to time and their place was literally an image of my house, down-sized to their dimensions and kept immaculate! There's absolutely never any place for living in squalor. I bet, if I gave this guy a $100,000 home, he'd turn it into a shambles within three months. It's never about "what you have", it's always about "who lives there."

Dealing with hoarders at times, a lot of it is depression, mental issues beyond the normal or understanding. Social Services are suffering budget cuts during the Trump administration and Biden is trying to correct some of it. But State programs from the state to state levels have been cut, specially in Republican held States. The Social Safety-net has very large holes. If people don't get involved it will get worse... Texas is a prime example of that.

Poor guy. He needs to be shown how to live properly. That’s been my struggle. I just recently spent a couple days with a proper family(I spent a couple days visiting) and I was blown away at how amazing life can be… but here I am back living alone in a horrible trailer park alone. I’m in this situation because I had to care for my disabled father. I didn’t have a mom or siblings to help and I couldn’t leave him to suffer alone. So… when he passed away they took the house and now I’m struggling. But I got a glimpse the other day at what life should be like. Hopefully I can press forward and get things right. Feel bad for that guy but he seems to be making excuses for his situation. I work three jobs and I’m trying my hardest to get my life on track.

I know many good pple living in a trailer park. There is nothing wrong with it. What you need to do is keep your place clean and the outside clean too. Plenty of furniture can be bought at thrift stores. What is important is manners, respect, being clean and have a good heart. With hard work you can do anything. Heck a friend lives in a trailer and has a garden and chickens in a coop she made herself from youtube. No rent or mortgage and works full time too.

The lady living in this shed recently had several cats removed as she locked them in the shed for several days without food or water. Someone turned the neglect in and they removed the poor cats. Now she got more, I see. If people want to continue living like this, don’t get innocent pets that you don’t feed or water. There’s a huge backstory involving this family. As angry as I can get concerning animal neglect and abuse, I pray they find their way as a family. You showed great mercy.

That comes from Satan telling you to give up and just wallow in your current conditions and to not ask. There are a lot of people who've been in that place so long they don't want anything good to come to them because blessings open doors and that's work. Thank you for trying to expose him to our Lord and to tell him to keep trying. I'll be saying a prayer for him and his mother. Living in poverty causes depression. When you are depressed, you feel hopeless. When you are hopeless, you have no incentive to clean, or try to improve your situation. Strong willed people pull themselves up bit by bit. It is the weak who drown in sorrow. If drugs or alchohol are keeping you down, you have to get clean. If bad luck is keeping you down, change your luck by being proactive and positive. If laziness is keeping you down, get your butt up and do something. Anything! Start small and build on it. Start by cleaning yourself, then your surroundings. You will start to feel better. Don't be too ashamed to ask for help. Take that help and help yourself, then, help someone else.

I even lived in a shed for three winters and keep it spotless and I'd bathe using a bucket of hot water from the turkey fryer. Prison is what I needed years earlier and what saved me. Agreed. I'm disabled and just walking feels like I'm on broken ankles, but I still have a part time job, because I don't want to end up on the street. That still may happen, given how stupidly high rent is now, but even on my worst days, where I can barely get out of bed, I made damn sure my place was clean enough to not have BUGS. There has to be a line you draw for yourself somewhere. It may take me all day, in 5 minutes spurts to get the bathroom clean, but it WILL get cleaned. I get depression holding someone down, and living like that just amplifies it, but at some point you just have to tell yourself you've had enough, and do something about it.

It’s hard to feel sorry for people who just refuse to help themselves. I grew up bad like that. I started working Burger King when I was 15. 3 months after I turned 16 I got a small little apartment and just never looked back. Bought my first home when I was 21. I’d say my family is still living like that. Idk. And i don’t care. I got out and swore I’d never have my kids living like that. I wouldn’t have even had kids if couldn’t provide for them. We have one biological that’s 21. And we adopted our daughter when she was 7. She is now 16 has a job a car and is an amazing person When we got her we had to throw away what little they sent with her because the bags and stuff was just filthy with bugs and stunk. She dint need any of that stuff anyways but it just solidified we done the right thing in choosing her. . It breaks my heart people have to live like that. When you’re a kid you just don’t have a choice tho.

You’re such a good man. I agree that we should not judge and instead pray. This is terrifyingly sad. Imagine if you were destitute in poverty and could only afford to rent a shed on someone’s property. Only to get evicted at random because the property owner can’t pay his bills. One moment you have shelter the next you don’t. I think we should all be able to empathize with these humans.

Plenty of work around without needing "papers" just ask those crossing the southern border. PREACH MY FRIEND..... I've been watching your Video's for a good week now. I only wish I'd seen you sooner and I'm clueless as to how one of your Video's popped up when I went on KZfaq. I've never watched Repo Video's before but poof there you were one day. Your ability to interact with folks ESPECIALLY in a Repo situation just blows my mind. I truly believe it's a "God thing" that I found your Channel. Your compassion through Christ just shines right through. I admire the fact that the Gospel appears at ALL the right times when you're on the road doing your job. I understand that many folks are opinionated about Religion in a negative way and I'm sure at some point you've been spoken to negatively when the first hint of Religion leaves your lips so if you appear to be guarded when it comes to that subject i certainly understand it. I cannot fathom where my life would be had I not spent time living at our Summer Cottage in an Amish Community in Middlebury, Indiana. Though I'm not Amish I have the utmost Respect for the Amish Community. I now know where you got your "hard working" ethic from for sure if that makes any sense. Thank you for giving this young man the "Have you asked God for help?" message. Those word's will resonate with him. Mark my word's. Bless you and your beautiful Wife Sir.

It might be her way of keeping him around so she's not alone. He doesn't need her to get a copy of his birth certificate. It's actually not as hard as people always make it out to be. You almost always have to pay a fee so maybe that's what is holding them up.
@elevate_era
@elevate_era 2 жыл бұрын
@@agent_of_cthulhu Yes and no on the ID. I knew exactly what he was talking about when he said he couldn't get one without the other. I lost my birth certificate and social security card once and had to have them replaced. I had my drivers license which wasn't expired when I went to the County Clerks office to get my birth certificate. They wouldn't give me one without my social security card even though I used my birth certificate as ID to get my drivers license... Social Security wouldn't give me a replacement card without my birth certificate. It was basically a Catch-22... I honestly don't remember the "magic combination" or which one was granted to me first but it was a real pain in the butt. That all being said, I am not saying that he is doing all that he can do. Obviously he isn't since I was able to do it, he should be able to. The saddest part about this whole situation is that people are looking down their noses at these people when the number of people in that situation is only going to increase. Is it their fault? Not entirely... Makes me think of the old saying, "Pull yourself up by your bootstraps" but it's hard and, sometimes, almost impossible if you don't even have boots to strap...
@agent_of_cthulhu
@agent_of_cthulhu 2 жыл бұрын
@@elevate_era yeah I agree. It's not necessarily easy to get important documents replaced but if you need them, then you have to get them whatever it takes. I also do not like when people look down on those who are in tough situations. I've had my share of hardship and learning how to deal with adversity is an important part of life. When you're up you can help others, when you're down you need help. That's just how it is.
