No. It was a bit distant and echo-y, think it was clear enough but would be a good upgrade...

Hi, the link you posted leads to a EVO system. Your Mini is NBT only (as mine). The dealers pictures also show EVO for the Mini display. Could you please check

Agreed. That and the fact the maps go out of date really quickly. I’ll cover why I’ve gone for it and Pros and Cons in Part 3 ;)

Hi Jamie, How can you find out what system it is in your mini idrive system? I have a 2018 mini cooper and would like to do this upgrade. I have the 6" screen (i think) is that the NBT?

If you contact the supplier on AliExpress, they will help you buy the correct system, but I think you can tell from the home screen of the unit (if it looks more 3D then it’s EVO if 2D, it’s NBT). Hope that helps.

@@TheSJamG Hi Jamie I was looking to instal this system and did a little bit of research I thought that the NBT EVO has the 2D looking screen with 6 icons and the NBT has the 3D looking screen with 8 icons, I went to click the link posted and in one of the photos it shows the 2D looking screen just wanted to make sure it was the right one before buying, just a side note but brilliant installation videos pal

Your part 2 says you cover the different types of head units. This doesn't have it. Is there another video?
