Hauled logs ,gravel ,over dimension, sold Pete's and kw for years. Other than the sales ,the best trucking money made was livestock w900 l 455 cat . Yes series 60 was a game changer. Now sell the FL vs the Pete or kw up time vs down time etc etc . Best money invested is still the 359 or 362 ! But that was the best of times . Work safely and have fun . Thanks for the time you invest in the videos .

Watching this video brought back memories of truckin milk in northern MN. Worst two years of my career. Summers not bad, could make the run in 12 hours. But I swear those winters were the worst for storms and snow I’d ever seen. No matter the weather, we had to go. Also done plenty of belly dumpin. Paving jobs are like trying to organize chaos while herding cats.

Belly dump❤❤❤ aka Bottom dumps only thing better then a single belly is doubles. And if u want to be successful in belly dumping u have to be willing to haul anything and kind of gypsy mode. Yes those series 60s are amazing even the egr dpf 14ls weren't that bad of u keep up on the aftertreatment maintenance. Only other engines that I believe match the simplicity and cost are either in my experience are Mack engines or the cummins n14 black tops.

Aww man! I grew up somewhat close to Pipestone and I've been down in that area for a while helping with flooding clean up over in Jackson. Would have been awesome to run into you! 😁 Talking about the 389 you were talking about, another project that I was thinking could be cool for a driver like you would be doing an Edison R500 retrofit kit into one of your project trucks and basically turn your truck into an EV but with a diesel generator onboard that can charge your batteries without needing to rely on plugging it in. You can also run the diesel generator while driving to charge your batteries keeping you running for longer. Just a cool idea I thought would be neat for a trucker like you to maybe use to keep you moving.
