UPDATE: Coral Island literally just announced some changes that clarify and change some things covered in the video. Here's the entire post: "The exclusive reward (Premium outfits, Crowns and Mythical pets) ends at 10 pm EST (GMT-4) on March 31st, 2021. The store will be closed for 1 hour to reflect this change in storefront. At the same time, all orders will be locked and charged. The surveys for March pre-order backers will be sent immediately after. If you do not receive/ fill in the survey, please do not worry. It does not cancel your order. Starting April 1, 2021, Coral Island pre-order store will only have the following: 1. Alpha pack (steam only) 2. Double-double pack (steam only) 3. Coral Island game key 4. Digital Art Book + OST 5. Pre-order exclusive Pack (Alpha access + steam game key + art book + ost)"

Their pre-order store is still open! They changed some things as of April 1st, but you can still order some pretty good deals, including the pack that I myself purchased!

I'm not sure how much you want to spend/ how much you want that dragon, but I have seen some people on their discord that bought a tier that included two of the dragon without anyone to split it with. You might be able to find someone like that, IF you're willing to put in that work and take the risk. I'm glad you enjoyed the video though! Thank you very much. :D I'm sorry you found it a bit late bit I'm glad you found it, period.

Yeah, I really wish they'd got their applications approved BEFORE launching their kickstarter... it's a huge disappointment.

If you read on their Q&A it says when the game comes out you'll get to choose your key for either pc or console so you can still preorder

I had someone tell me about this game just yesterday and they linked your earlier vid. Watched it and got super excited as it brings elements of several different games I like together. Was sad to miss the funding but then very excited to get one of the pre-order kits! Super excited to see this develop and very curious to see how the environmental aspect is done as that is a huge draw for me. I just hope the fishing is better as that's the aspect of Stardew I keep struggling with and it's kind of caused me to take long breaks from the game. I've even tried on several different platforms and I just can't get my brain/hands to work together well enough. :(

Haha, I'm happy your friend (or whoever it was) told you about this amazing game! And idk which other Coral Island video you're referring to, but if you're into the environmental conservation aspect, one of them is all about that! I too hope the fishing is good. I personally didn't have a problem with SDV's fishing system, but a lot of people did/do.

Hey Ann! Yes! Alpha in June 2021 Early Access on Steam in Q4 2021 Early Access on consoles in Q2 2022 Full release in Q4 2022 All keys will be distributed right before the corresponding release via the email used.

The alpha itself is only playable on PC. Say they were to get approved by Nintendo today - you'd still be able to get the alpha farmer pack for the Switch. The Alpha would be on PC though, but your game key would be on Switch.

Hey Doctor, I'm thinking of getting the Pioneer pack but it includes 2 of everything. If I get it, would you be able to use the extra stuff? If you can, I would give it to you under the condition you do an LP of the game when it comes out. lol. :)

Hahahaha, I really appreciate the offer, but I've already backed at the Double Double tier. That doesn't include everything in the Pioneer Pack, but I wouldn't want to take that from you! I'll likely end up doing some form of extended coverage on this game, whether or not that's a LP though remains to be seen!

No, but you can give away that stuff to others! I believe the key for mythical pets will be separate from the one for the clothing, wings, and crown, which will be separate from the game.

Welp will probably be picking up the Alpha Farmer Pack ,but is it just me or is the Mythical Pet and Costume Add on prices a bit Steep for what they are? (edit) ok well I lied I just bought the double deluxe so I had a copy for my friend as well also it charged me right away for the record.

That's good info! Thanks for sharing! I debating buying another copy for the sake of the video, but monies...lol. And yeah, I did the Double Double so the pet price was a bit more justified, but on its own, it's pretty steep, as are the costumes. They are purely cosmetic after all and have zero impact on gameplay, so it's not necessary to purchase, but dang is that one attractive carrot being dangled in front of us all...lol

Yep! The mythical pet purchase will just give you a Steam code that can be redeemed for the mythical pets. It's in no way tied to the game key you purchase, but once you redeem it, it will be bound to your Steam account.

If you haven't backed the game yet, your only option for platform is Steam, and with most of the add-on content only being available through March 31st, unless their console applications get approved in the next day, yes, your only platform to receive the "bonus content" is Steam. It sucks, I know :(

Most likely not. The add-on content (minus the alpha farmer pack) will only be available until the 31st (tomorrow), and pre-order keys for other platforms won't be available until they get their applications approved. As for Mac, it isn't even confirmed whether the game will be coming to Mac, period. They've stated they'll consider it after the game hits early access, which will be in Q4 of this year.

The "steam key" is a copy of the game when it fully releases. The pre-alpha access gives you access to the alpha in July. Your data will not transfer over.

"Mac players" is a bit of an oxymoron in itself, lol. When you buy a mac, you should fully understand it's not intended for gaming. They have said that they'll consider a mac release after the game hits early access though, so not all hope is lost quite yet!
