Hey captain Ryan,, thank you for taking us along. This flight was awesome. This cloud layer and the views above are one kind. I can't get enough of it. This week we have a glimps of PNG weather here in Germany too, but it is not too humid at the moment, thunderstorms are forecasted. Greetings from EDKB Germany, Andy.

I used to live here ,I remember a B29 wreck a few miles west on the coast(recovered by the RAAF years later). There used to be an ex coastal watcher by the name of Ben Hall who was a plantation owner on the western end of the strip, learnt to fly late in life and flew his Victor to Australia and back, unfortunately speared in during a rain storm. He was a real good guy. Where we swam in the ocean, the sea floor was littered with dumped 500 lb bombs. I used to have two 50 cal machine guns for gate posts on my house (very rusty) live 50 cal cartridges were all over the place. We used to go fishing for spanish mackerel from a small boat with handlines..Bit hard on the hands pulling them in. You could live off one fish for two weeks waiting for your hands to heal up so that you could repeat the process. This is the third time you have taken me to my old stamping ground: Komperi valley, Madang, Saidor. Thanks for the memories

Ryan, Good to see Siador from the air again, last time would've been in the late 60's. to collect bits of Jeep & aircraft parts, firearms, marsder matting (used for making runways & plantation roads) Their were a lot of aircraft wrecks & machinery back then. Thanks for the memories.

FANTASTIC!! I really enjoy every flight I have seen. I appreciate the detail and commentary the most. Of course the history and folklore of it all is great too. Thank you for the great amount of information you put in all your videos. The camera placement and operation are superb!! And, I must say, the editing is the best I have seen any where. The finished product is really amazing. I am enjoying every detail you put into these videos.. Thank you again for all the work and effort you put into your channel. I do some work in digital photography and from MY experience, a lot happens between the shot (or video) and the finished product. And I appreciate all of your work. As I said, you have THE most professional and well executed channel I have ever had the joy and privilege to enjoy.. Thank you..

I heard you mention Pacific Wrecks. If you search for Junjer F 13ke "Papua" serial Number 2074 Registratiin Number VH-UTS, you can read about my uncle, Werner Garms, who flew for the Neuendettlesauer Missions. I believe he started flying there in 1936. I do not know where his home vase was, but have a picture of him when he had a small accident, ran slightly off a steep runway, had to get help from villagers to push it back up. He and his mechanic flew until 1939, when they "borrowed" the airplane to leave when they heard the war had started. Somewhere I have a magazine article written by the mechanic about that last flight over the high mountains, landing in a rice paddy. I think of him when I watch you fly. Of course, he had none of the wonderful electronic aids you have! In 1942 he was shot down over Crimea, listed as missing.

Hi Ryan, question from an 80 year old ex PNG pro camera man 1967 -1974. Ever landed at Omkalia in the Chimbu District? Went there several times shooting footage. Extreme slope down to the Wagi valley. Went in in a Cessna push pull. Hairy ride some times, updraft could be interesting to say the least. Love your show, interesting to see how much has changed in the various places I had visited. Garoka looks like Jacksons now!!!
