Your ability to just make anything funny is so ridiculous. There are so many different types of standup comedians, but your ability to do it on the fly, responding to things in the news pretty much on the spot, is nuts. Not many standup guys can do that so well, even the ones at the top.

What kills me is they get free medical for life and call us entitled when we have to work for it. I don't think 9/11 was as big of a deal as people play it up to be, it was just a terrorist attack that we allowed to strip ourselves of rights (TSA, etc). But the people who showed up are hero's, and now they are sick because of the materials the government allowed them to use to build those buildings. Don't get me wrong it's sad those people were killed, I'm just aware of the insane number of people who die every die because of poverty, and that's so avoidable I'm a bit numb to terrorist attacks and "mass shootings".

Lol Josh is so much better than both Noah and Chappelle combined. Noah is never funny. Chapelle is bitter and offensive. Josh is in the middle and grounded. Very grounded.

Trevor Noah was partial about his political commentary. Comedians make fun of all the political parties.

Chappelle is a trans phobic bigot. This guy not giving off those vibes. Trevor told stale jokes off a teleprompter. Seems like this comment was made based on race and a vague resemblance rather than similarities in their personality. Just a dumb comparison.

I wouldn’t say dry, it’s Canada. And I say this as a person who lives 45 mins away from the place he did this show at. He had them at Mitch and republicans (no surprise there) but the school shootings? Way more serious of a problem and not something commonly faced here. I don’t know that we joke about it quite as Much. I think the crowd was just being intentful, and listening. I don’t know that they were dry. Just my two cents.

I'm in the US, but it would be awesome if Josh could go there and make some scratch. I am really beginning to think stand-up comedy is our only chance at world peace and if we can export one thing to the world it should be this. Truth housed in laughs.

Having followed him for a couple of months now, and catching up on his podcast, I wonder why they had him as a writer and never on screen. Dulce, Ronnie, Roy, come out. They all got time on screen, but not Josh.

@@LindaC616 Oh wow, didn't actually look into his bio prior and didn't know he wrote for them. Yeah I'm really wondering why he never got some screen time, at least as a guest correspondent then. Dude's comedic timing is fantastic, his writing is top notch, and he's so quick with the turnaround on the material. Feels like he was bred in a lab for the gig. Missed opportunities TDS.

It's funny, because most of the correspondents were getting or going to get a turn before they chose a new host, and I don't know why Josh has never been on screen. He is a writer, but never had spots like Ronnie, Dulce, et cetera?
