Full detailed video on how to replace the Mitsubishi Lancer Timing chain on a 2009 2.0L NA engine.
Dash displayed red triangle : Manual indicated Worn Timing chain. This engine has 100,000 km on it. 11 years old at the time and city driving by previous owner.
After work was completed I had the tire TPMS sensors re-programmed in and in that process also cleared the timing chain warning and it has not come back ( 2 weeks ). Car runs and drives great and it may not have needed the replacement in the end.
Also recommend doing a valve clearance adjustment.... I will work on that for another video as well.
This is the first timing chain I have ever done and video for this car and channel. I have done one timing belt in the past. I am no expert or accredited mechanic in any way. I am just a DIY guy and if I can share and help someone else, that is why I post the videos.
This is the 4B11 engine that is in many Mitsubishi models that include the following in some of the trim levels.

2009 Outlander
2012 and 2013 Outlander
