I had the same issues pulling the side tail light out. I even broke the side corner piece. Easiest way to remove it for me was to push it from the side corner forcefully back and pulling from the screw holes on the inside. Hope that helps. 2010 DE

The main thing that can go wrong with any job like this is to break clips, fasteners, plastic screwdriver holes etc. You can minimise the chances of doing that by using the proper tools to remove the various bits and pieces in order to get to the bulb housing and the bulb itself. As always, take it slowly, don't force anything, and 99 times out of 100 it will all work out. Also, as the video shows, never handle bulbs with your bare hands. Gloves for the win. They protect the new bulbs and they protect your hands. Cheers from the Land Down Under.

If it helps anyone... I had to use a wider screwdriver than the one he is using then pull from the center as he does (a little bit hard), it'll come of entire.

Are both the large and small bulb on each side considered tail lights? Pretty sure all 4 of mine are out lol

The casing will not come out I pried and chipped the corner, I literally pushed and pulled with excessive force. I gave up and am gonna drive with a burnt out brake light for the rest of my cars life.
