Mixed Media Art: Final 7 Pages in My Art Journal

In this video, I am finishing the last seven pages of an art journal. Rather than fast forward, I explain in real time what I'm thinking as I work on each page. I'll admit I end up with mixed results and don't love every outcome but frankly, it's nice to have closure!

Lesson learned! Don't watch your videos at night because you get my inspiration into overdrive and instead of going to bed I want to create!😂 As always, another fun packed visit....lots and lots of ideas and fun! Almost as though we are enjoying a relaxing evening creating together in your studio. You have a rare gift my friend, and so happy you share it with us. Loving the layers and grunge....❤

Oh, Pam you always make me feel so good! The fact that I am inspiring anyone comes as such a surprise because each time I hit record I wonder if anyone will actually watch--especially this one since it was so long. Anyway, thanks for joining me on this journey--I definitely appreciate it!

I so enjoyed watching this; I am such a newbie; I found myself liking things before you were finished and then being blown away at how much better it was with more layers, etc. So inspiring!!!

I'm glad you were inspired Jamie! I think being creative is all about not being afraid to make a mistake (I struggle greatly with this!!) so sometimes I do wish I'd stopped rather than adding more layers but you just never know. It is a process sometimes with good results and other times not so much--but there is always something to learn.

Why is Aqua and cream such a pretty combinations.. I had a Mustang 65 and would have loved it more if it was aqua and cream. Hence, I love that first painting.. cool exercise overall in stretching your creativity.
