Calvin Scherbarth T pose is what you get as default poses for 3D human models, the model has its arms spread apart and legs straight, resuming the shape of a T. Characters also experience T pose when their animation fails to load correctly (memes come from here). What liukang did at 0:52 looks similar to a t pose, that’s why it’s funny

Basically Liu Kang was designed after Jade and independently of her, so the tools of these two characters were never cross-referenced. Meaning Liu wasn't balanced to be fair against Jade. This is why pretty much anything Jade can do, Liu can either do better or has a straight up counter to it. The reason for this I'd assume is time constraints.

No single character is balanced around one another single character. That is why Liu Kang may handle Jade better than he can handle other zoners in the game and Jade can handle other rush down based characters better than Liu Kang.

I only have a 30% success rate, with that Jade corner combo. In training, I use the character falling nearly halfway as a queue for the down jab and conversion. It's online that's the issue! The different pace online just throws me completely off!

Note to Sylverrye, Do not do flying kicks at full screen long range. you're only setting yourself up for an attack.

You get a KB off it, especially if they’re trying to walk forward or backwards because they can’t block and walk at the same time..they can’t even punish it sometimes because on certain ranges flying kick has enough pushback so yeah Rye knows what he’s doing.

SUB 2 FUNHAUS Sonic really is just that good, I haven’t run into or seen gameplay of any Erron even close to Sonics. Dude rarely drops a string and consistently pulls off that 2,1,2,1,2, into b,f,4 into d3 back into 2,1,2,1,2 or b2,2,2 into b,f,3 that string is insane and haven’t seen anyone get remotely close to doing what sonic does.

coma phase he has that teleport which can be a 50/50 option and then he has an attack buff. His second one gains a stance , prarry and low fireball

coma phase you might like it. At first I kinda didn’t but after the first few 30 minutes it grew on to me. As of right now I’m enjoying it as much as mkx after picking up lui kang. I think 11 is the most skill based mk game rn.

its a damn shame how they made a lot of characters way way overpowered and are not willing to nerf those characters. I know multiple die hard MK fans that have either returned mk11, never bought it, or just flat out refuse to play because of the overpowered characters. It will ultimately be the downfall of mk11.

I can't believe how far the music in MK has fallen. In MK 1, 2 and 3, the music is incredible! The big booming tracks to go together with that stiff uppercut sound fx is what attracted so many people to the game. So since music is so important, why did the dev opted for this very boring, non-epic, flat, uninspiring cinematic track? What a bore and a massive disappointment. *sigh... oh well.

Until I saw a Liu Kang video recently I wondered how he's not garbage if neither variation has his command grab and he has no overheads outside of jump attacks and specials. Suffice to say, there's a lot of things to learn and week 1 is too early for any one person to judge.

Much more fun to play. I've played liu as long as I can remember and the character Is just boring af in this game. Bicycle kick into bicycle kick as a dmg source is just fucking lazy design. Doesn't even feel good wining with him.
