I did one one a 10 ford flex. Passenger rear. Was a nightmare. She was stuck. Took a puller and some heat. The Steele bearing housing into aluminum wheel hub about welds itself together lol. Anyway I love your videos and your commentary. I’m from ohio too. Greenville about 2 hours from ya. Keep it up.

If they decide to do the upper a arm then would be the best time to replace that broken vacuum hub actuator(the thing those vacuum lines hooked to) because you’ll have to pull the axle out of that hub to remove that actuator from the back side of that steering knuckle. 👍

Amen brother. Complete the mission, get your pay in your hand and THEN tell them about the other issues. It's not dishonest on your part, it's making sure you get yours before they start being dishonest or making excuses for not paying you. We want to believe in human decency and fair play. Throw that out the window. Alot if times when you try and be a decent human being you wind up taking it in the ass. Keep on keeping on brother.

That broken ring is part of the 4x4 iwe hub actuator.

Cars like that are a pain. I avoid them. Customer spends money and it still will be "broken". Makes you look bad and they don't follow recommendations because it's not in their budget.

Wow..that's about the worst I've ever seen. So basically the axle nut was the only thing holding the wheel on? Geez. If the customer wants 4wd, they need a new axle and a new IWE. Also, new rotors and pads. But they'll have to pay labor to tear it all apart again for the IWE's. I would have loved to hear what that sounded like cruising down the road basically with Bluetooth wheels. :) Good video, my man!

Bud I appreciate what you do I’m in the same business. But at what point do you avoid liability. That ball joint or control arm fails or caliper fails you where the last mechanic to touch it your on the hook. I mean you even call it out in your video. Just be careful bro hate to see a fellow mechanic get screwed.
