Guys I would recommend using a 7-8kg spring, the 12kg spring is to much and has a good chance of breaking the blaster.

Are you a good authority on the subject? Not being a jerk i just wanna buy the mediator 7kg spring on amazon but the only review said it shot the back out of the blaster and ruined it. But i dont think i saw drac reinforce the back and it seems to be okayish with the 12kg. Also how difficult is the prime with a 7kg because im of a petite build?

Thanks for the advice I was gonna use a 12 kg spring now I used an 8 kg spring after I saw this comment it works pretty well.

There is no what to view the dart even with an open breach mod and he is checking the chambering unlike a real gun you can get to see the chambered round

Thanks for this video. My 9 year old got a bullet jammed in the barrel because he loaded it upside down. Your video helped me to strip and rebuild the gun back, and he's back to shooting me with it. Thanks mate.

Nerf Turf springs is closing and relocating to the USA, I beleive it will retain it's name with a USA at the end. This will be good for American modders but not so much AUS/NZ nerfers.

That piece you talk about at 2:17 is useless. It just makes a clicking noise when you prime the blaster. I took it out of my Mediator and it works fine.

Not only that, but it allows you to fire it one handed (without it when firing the pump moves backwards when pulling trigger, failing to fire) and prime in stages (handy for young, weak people)

Hey Drac! Not sure is you cleared it up, but the thing you didn’t know what it was, it’s actually just to make a cool sound when you prime it! It’s also In the sling fire, all that little thing does is make a super cool clicky sound while you prime it

I rock one with a retaliator 9kg worker spring. Primes rather light and slamfire is still do able. The ratcheting piece allows you to prime 'in stages' as well as use it one handed. Without that you need to keep pressing the pump grip forward when pulling the trigger, disabling one handed use

Thanks for showing me what goes where: I had a catastrophic jam on the day I got my Mediator (a dart jammed in between the bolt and the plunger tube). I had to open it up to fix, and I also ripped out the locks too.

+LordDraconical The internals are essentially just a rehashing of rampage internals, I shoved some into a raider a little while ago, but the mediator is just a compact rampage

I got an Elite Alpha Trooper CS-18 lying around. And now I'm wondering if I can take that apart and use its springs for the Mediator. Edit: Mistakes were definitely made. I'm having quite the time trying to put it back together.

I'd get like a Retaliator mod spring, one of lower strength ones. And when you do put it in, make sure to prime it all the way forward to lock it. That said, I'd recommend a Villainator if you really want good slamfire action. A Lynx is far too expensive for our likes.

Hugo young has already put a comment about this but I feel I need to reiterate. Turf springs are going threw a transition at the mo. You can't get any turf springs from anywhere at this time as far as I am aware. The Ozzy branch and manufacture is currently closed, so sad times, but they will be reopening and trading from the US. Hopefully this will happen early next year. If you are on Facebook go to blasterguts forum any news should be posted there first. I put a comment this morning (uk time) asking if they had an eta as to when they would be trading. But are all hoping it'll be sooner rather than later coz we sorly miss those crazy powerful springs.

You may not be getting enough compression in the spring, try slightly shortening it

I made a 22 1/2 kg. Longshot by taking all of my springs from locks and layered them onto the catch. I found a nice 22 1/2 kg. spring and put it in, so now it's ridiculous.

a 12 spring might be too much looks like you had real trouble priming it and forget slam fireing that

i think that is due to the fact that he removed the ratcheting system, which can help ease the priming, so hes basically priming a pump action retaliator without a stock (i own a 14kg retat, its a pain to prime without a stock)

Hey uuh i know this comment is very random but when i was playing with my mediator. When i placed a mag in the magwell it jammed at the middle of the pump grip spot. And the only to fix it was to take it apart. Kinda like a longstrike bolt getting stuck in the middle position. Why is it happening?

Hey so I've got a 7 kilo spring in mine but I'm getting 65-75 fps(using a chronobarrel, and elite darts) average, which is in the range of fps that I've seen in other reviews. 80 fps with xshot darts, but those will increase fps in most blaster. I feel as though something isn't working as well as it should. Will I get better results with a 9 kilo spring or am I missing something?

Stick a sturdy piece of plastic on the front of the handle so you have more room for your hand when you prime. It will be easier to reload imo

We got one of these on clearance and it was an as is no returns. Got it home and the trigger wouldn’t latch. I just took it apart and that funny little thingy you pulled off at 1:15 wasn’t there!!! I can’t seem to find it anywhere on the internet. Do you have any clue where I can look to find that stinkin part? HAAAAALP!
