This is the best video I’ve ever seen on dismantling a Model A engine - great for those of us who didn’t grow up wrenching on engines. Thank you! I’d love to see a video of the other half - the machining and assembly with insert bearings.

I've always liked the idea of babbitt, but is there really any legitimate reason at all to go back to it when this sort of thing happens to my '28? Or for that matter, in any old engine?

some swear by babbitt but I like inserts and aluminum or bronze cam gears
