Thanks for this great series. I am at the point of starting to copper my hull, after 2 years have your plates started to peel at all. I am wondering if the adhesive backing is holding or if I am better off using some kind of glue.

Stellar Work! I am almost completed with the hull planking. Then I will be starting the upper wale and the inner bullwarks. I am just hoping mine looks as good as yours as I complete the steps! When I lay that whiskey plank, I plan to get a new bottle. Maybe some Blantons Bourbon. I'll have a pour for you too.

I'm still working on the gun port doors trying to figure the best way to make the hole in them (think I have it now). I am also looking ahead to finishing the bow detail for all the "carving" of the detail

all the paint I am using on the Syren is Model-Expo's in house brand. Can't recommend it for the general quality but is does cover very well (2 pots of paint from them were completely unusable as they had dried out in the pot)
