Keep in mind that Graham was sitting on that favor throughout the game, every time Jimmy started a dictate chain he could have called in that favor to save his boardstate, instead he just takes it, bides his time, flies under the radar, top decks the right card at the right time and wins like a boss.

a little late but jimmy doesn't owe graham a favour anymore when he decided to destroy that library-to-graveyard card (yes, i forgot the name). a favour would mean letting jimmy activate that ability when he wants to, not destroying that card and forcing jimmy to activate the ability that turn. graham even stated his intention to go back on his word in post which would be obvious to me if i was playing as jimmy. i would have done the opposite and swung at graham that turn when jimmy said he was returning the favour cause graham broke the deal first.

@@anderslinaa3075 graham destroying the hermit druid was on the stack then jimmy activated its ability in response. this means jimmy was forced into using that ability at that moment, not when he wanted to. jimmy didn't use the hermit druid to mill again. my previous comment was correct and i shall clarify. i meant he should have punched graham with the gitrog monster instead of kathleen cause graham broke the deal of Allowing (Not forcing) 1 mill.

@@maxspecs Not true. With Jimmy his favors are essentially absolute. If he says a no questions asked favor that is what you get. Graham could have 100% asked for Jimmy to attack with all of his creatures and Jimmy would have done it (lol obviously he did it anyway). Favors are not like... a rule. The value of a favor depends entirely on a players honesty. You can lie about favors and all that jazz. Jimmy just doesn't play that game. Mostly cause it's funny.

I’ve rewatched this saga many times. That early deal for a favor, that major falling behind by Graham, the ignoring of Graham by everybody else because they don’t think he’s a threat, Jimmy slaying everybody but Graham, Graham kicking Jimmy’s butt suddenly, Jimmy trying to commit suicide, and Graham cashing in that favor to let his shit deck finally do something good. It’s possibly the greatest underdog story I’ve ever witnessed.

My dad actually has a really good Goat deck. He beat all of his Magic playing student with it XD (he's a professor). He's been wanting to make a goat tribal deck, and as of recently a squirrel deck. Maybe the new unsanctioned can help with that.

You’re seriously crazy if you thought that guy was bragging. I agree that playing EDH at LGS can be pure cancer since everyone is usually a super try hard. But there’s nothing wrong with spending money over time on something that makes you happy. I bet if you tallied up all the money you have spent on your hobbies since you were a kid, the number would far exceed $5k.

@@bobdole8830 i'm not a fan too of these kind of decks but let's be honest: The bear deck vs the others would have never won. In the mid late game they didn't mind about him for like 3-4 turns and still he wouldn't have been able to win if josh didn't destroy dictate of herebos and other stuff to balance the game while he was dying so it was absolutely not of his concern to help one particular player. Also jimmy clearly should have take into account the blockers and life total when he attacked on his last turn. What happens here on game knights is super entertaining and stuff but it doesn't always portray how a game of commander actually works. Be careful i'm not blaming them show or whatever because it's logical that the episode can't last 30 mins or a player doesn't get knocked out in the first 15 minutes. However sometimes they make decisions for entertaining purpose and that does not happen when you play a normal commander game.
