There is a simplified way to looking at moisturizing your natural hair. First you have to understand what moisture and hydration is. Once you understand that, its half the battle! @Flourishcurls_salon

Other topics. Hair based on seasons and hair based on region. I never saw videos for dealing with hair in extreme heat like vegas. Searching for same videos now with extreme humidity like FL.

@@Flourishcurls_salonyes! I would also appreciate that.! I live in az n I just have not been able to figure out the moisture but when I visit places with humidity, even though my hair shrinks aggressively lol I can tell my hair is LOVING that weather

Likewise. I went natural while living in a very dry climate and it took me a while to realize my hair was also responding to the weather! Humid environments definitely made both my skin and hair feel so much more moisturized. Would appreciate any tips for boosting hydration/hair health in dry climates!

Thank you for the video. What if your hair is low porosity and protein sensitive? I am struggling. And currently my hair is throwing gang signs (stick out everywhere)

That's me. The front is limp, it's short. My former stylist waited until the majority of the relaxer was grown out( I actually didn't have an issue with getting a chop) and there were stringy ends left. I suggested it's time, I don't like how it looks, plus , the split will just continue up the hair. Well, the back has beautiful bounce and curl( plus it's a little shorter I think than the top) but half way to the front😮! Hydration. Moisturizing, plus salt and pepper! What a fight! I keep it in twists updo. Old stylist had to move so I had to find another one. Also, the back is not gray! It's pepper. I'm not giving up! Love the videos!

Another very informative video! Thank you! Sadly, most places in this country have hard water, so good hydration is crucial. We still really have to identify the ingredients because it all goes into the body. Too many have harmful chemicals.

I really enjoyed your video very informative. When doing a protein treatment is it best keep it as a wash n go or should it be in a protective style for reconstruction?

So if I am struggling with moisture and protein, do I use both at the same time or alternate?
@Flourishcurls_salonАй бұрын
You can! You can either do moisture shampoo and conditioner one week and protein the next or you can use a moisturizing conditioner with a protein shampoo all in the same wash

Hi. Just found your wonderful content. I see someone else asked for your feedback on caring for locked hair strands. I too have this question. Actually, I’d like to know your overall assessment of wearing and caring for locks. Is locking the hair a healthy or unhealthy process for natural hair? I really hope you will speak to this.
